Jiayuan Hotel

Location: Right next to the scenic area, only a three to five-minute walk to the West Xizha scenic area entrance. It's on a street but not noisy at night, maybe because it's the off-season, which is quite convenient. Facilities: Overall very good. This time, the toilet seat was crooked, and the kettle had limescale. I hope these improvements are made before the peak season. Service: Good, but I still hope that daily room cleaning includes changing and providing a full set of toiletries, not just two sets of toothbrushes. Hanfu Experience (1 set): I didn't actually try it, but I did go to the Hanfu shop. The owner adds a lot to the hotel's appeal. From the introduction, there are no hidden upsells. If you don't choose paid activities, you can still experience it for free. Overall, it's good, I recommend staying here!

Environment: The hotel is not far from the scenic area's main entrance, and there are many small eateries right outside, which is very convenient. Service: The front desk service was excellent, proactive and enthusiastic, highly recommend.

Booked this hotel last minute for the holidays. It was clean and tidy, which was great. It's right opposite the West Gate entrance, and the owner arranged parking for us, which was a nice touch. There's also a 24-hour Lawson convenience store nearby, which was very convenient.

Facilities: The room is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Hygiene: It's clean and tidy with no unpleasant odors. Environment: The surrounding area is convenient, very close to Xizha Scenic Area, about an eight or nine-minute walk away. Service: The hotel staff are all very warm and attentive! They even helped us with our luggage when they saw we had a lot. As Chinese New Year was approaching, they even gave us some small pastries when we checked out.

Found this hotel on Trip.com, and its location is fantastic! It's not far from the scenic spots, but just outside the main area, surrounded by tons of local eateries – you'll never go hungry. For me, cleanliness is key when choosing a hotel, and this place was spotless. The tables and bedding were all impeccably clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they carried our luggage, and when the TV remote wasn't working, they came right away to fix it – their attitude was excellent! Great value for money, I definitely recommend staying here! (Though Trip.com mentioned a Hanfu experience, the hotel never actually told me about this service...)
