Toor Hotel Toronto, Part Of Jdv By Hyatt

Arrived late at the hotel and got upgraded to a suite! Maybe it was because of all my requests combined with my London-accented English that made the front desk staff so polite and accommodating. Anyway, I couldn't bring myself to leave a bad review, haha!

Overall, my stay was quite pleasant. The service was friendly, and the hotel was very clean. The gym was excellent, and the laundry facilities were a thoughtful touch, especially for longer stays. My only minor complaint was that the room was a bit small. The location is superb, very close to St. Laurence Market and the Eaton Centre. However, the surrounding neighborhood felt a bit unsafe, with dirty streets and frequent approaches from strangers, so it's good to be aware of your surroundings.

This time, I stayed with a friend in a twin room. The room size was good, and it was well-equipped. The location is in the city center, so it's not far from anywhere. I would consider staying here again next time I visit.

The room was a bit small, and two beds felt a bit cramped, but the location was fantastic. It was within walking distance to the Eaton Centre and St. Lawrence Market, and not far from the University of Toronto. There were plenty of dining options nearby. When a family member fell ill during our stay, the front desk even offered a late check-out free of charge. I wouldn't recommend booking breakfast in advance; it's an à la carte menu, not bad, but booking through Trip.com with breakfast was not worth it, as it was significantly more expensive than paying on-site.

Exceptional staff service. It's a small hotel with all the essentials and a great location, although the neighborhood is right where you start seeing a lot of homeless people, and the food service is a bit limited but good 👌🏻

This hotel is quite central, within walking distance of attractions like St. Lawrence Market, the Eaton Centre, and the Hockey Hall of Fame, which was very convenient. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The restaurant downstairs serves excellent food; I ate there both nights of my stay. The service was fantastic – it's the only restaurant where I've genuinely felt happy to leave a tip. The area outside the hotel can be a bit messy due to homeless people, but it's fine during the day.
