Fairmont Royal York Hotel

I stayed at this hotel on business, and the overall experience was outstanding. The staff is extremely professional and polite – I especially appreciate that they went out of their way to allow us an early check-in, which really helped with organizing our day. The hotel lobby is beautifully designed, and the cleanliness and tidiness of the entire property are at a very high level. After a busy workday, the exceptionally comfortable bed and great pillows ensured a perfect night's sleep. The location is an absolute plus. The hotel is very close to the city center, and with the main railway station right in front of it, it is incredibly accessible and convenient. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed here during World Cup, the hotel location is supreme, can walk to a lot of places downtown if you want to but talking the subway/train/streetcar is also very convenient. The UP express to airport is only 5min away. We literally picked up our luggage at 9:25 and able to catch the 9:30 UP express. We stayed at an older wing. But really can’t complain about it because the location. (Only thing was, there was a spider in the bathroom 2 days in a row, we just send it to the hallway. )

Enjoyed our stay very much. Clean room & helpful staff. Just opposite Union Station making it so easy to move around. Everything else was good except found the floral deco at the lobby a bit odd & the hair dryer was very old. Took ages to dry my hair.

Cleaning staff kept taking our drinks. We asked for a mini fridge but there was a price tag we were not willing to pay. Front desk was helpful and often help resolve issues. Restaurant management was also helpful and accommodating durning misunderstanding of expectations. Bathroom is tiny but understandable as this is an old hotel. Overall stay was great, we are frequent guests at this hotel. Would recommend stay to others but be strategic on dates as price will fluctuate depending on events happening around the city. Local is ideal for downtown events and close to transit, do recommend not using a vehicle as many venues are within walking distance. Facilities are also key, with spool and fitness centre being top quality. Hope you enjoy your stay.
