Crowne Plaza TORONTO AIRPORT by IHG

Room was full of different hair colors & sizes from long blonde hair to ***** hair to short black hair around sink, on the floors, under the desk, behind the alarm clock, also small debris & pricetag hanging plastic on floor. Canary restaurant ok, but front office staff were all arrogant. Near hwy and few other hotels & restaurants around it, but far from city activities.

The desk chair height wasn’t adjustable but other than that nothing too uncomfortable. Room service and housekeeping were efficient and happy to help, demonstrating a pleasant attitude towards guests.

Super busy. Only two persons at the desk.  Room service clean my room and didn’t put any towel back.  Waited for over one hour for them to bring to my room after chasing a few times.

This hotel is ideally located for the Toronto Pearson Airport and offers a free airport transfer bus every 30mins which is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and my room was clean, modern and comfortable. It was extremely hot the day I was in Toronto, so the rooms were too and the A/C unit was so incredibly loud it was difficult to have it on. Other than that, my stay was great.

The hotel offers shuttle bus from and going to airport, accesibility of the distance to Pearson airport, always clean and complete toiletries, counter check in staffs were courteous and accomodating, housekeeping staffs were polite and helpful always

I had quite a lot of luggage as Toronto was only one of the cities in Canada I was visiting with a family of 5 (including a 1 year old). For a few days in Toronto it was just me and the 1 year old while my wife and boys went to watch a FIFA game. After I drove to the front of the hotel, I asked the people at the front desk if I could get some help with the luggage since I couldn’t manage the one year old and 3 suitcases. One of them despite being a ‘night shift manager’ told me “We don’t have any porters available now. I can give you a luggage cart, can you manage with that?”. He helped me take the suitcases out of the car and loaded them onto the luggage cart. That was the end of it. He went back to his business (dealing with his high profile customers) and I had to somehow figure out a way to carry a one year old and 3 suitcases + 2 carry ons on a luggage cart to level 6. The only people who helped me was a French-speaking lady and her son (who were also staying at the hotel). They saw the hardship i was going through and pushed the luggage cart all the way to Level 6 for me while I carried the baby. For a 5 star hotel like Crowne Plaza, I would have expected better. I paid $300 per night and got an average room which any hotel would have provided. The least I could have gotten is a better service. There’s no shortage of hotels and I’m never again returning to this one!

When I calm the front desk for shuttle info, she is rude. Location is great. Still no water in room.
