Coastal Waters (Hotel Barton)

We can recommend Coastal Waters. My partner and I spent 3 nights here in April and it was a very conveniently located homely base for the trip. Very close to good restaurants and the harbour. The place is clean, fresh and immaculately tidy. The carpets are luxurious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Very well kept by the owner Raj who was very accommodating and friendly during our stay. Breakfast was good too! Great to be supporting family run businesses who work so hard to make their guests stays enjoyable.

We had two nights here and it was a lovely experience. Warm welcome from Raj on arrival nice and pleasant to talk too , and we're lucky to get our room early . The place smelt so nice on arrival and our room was very clean , plenty of tea/ coffee in room with small mini fridge with two bottles of water . There a couple of parking space at back of b&b , but you are given a parking permit to park in the council car park which is around the corner and up the hill so not far away . Breakfast was plentiful, choices of fruit, cereal, yogurt. The full breakfast was so good and definitely set you up for the day . It not fat to walk into the main areas of the town ., so you are close to everything . Definitely recommend this b&b hopefully we will be back again.

We have just returned from a lovely couple of days in Torquay, made perfect by our stay at this guest house. From the warm welcome we received from Raj, the spacious and attractive room with everything needed for a comfortable stay and excellent breakfasts, we knew we had found a top quality, well run home from home. Put that together with a great location a brief walk from the harbour with all it cafes, restaurants and bars and we had a really great short break away.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Coastal Waters in Torquay. Raj and his wife work really hard to ensure their guests are comfortable and happy with the facilities and service. We had a lovely spacious and attractive room with a balcony, a super-king bed and excellent bedding, The shower room was great and everything was extremely clean. At breakfast we found lots of choice and the best full English we have had on any of our travels - including perfectly poached eggs! The hotel is very well situated a short walk from the harbour where there are tons of bars, cafes and restaurants available. Raj was very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout. Raj and family thank you so much for a five star stay at Coastal Waters hotel you are a brilliant host looking after us from arrival to departure such clean and comfortable accommodation it felt like home breakfast was lovely, location is spot on for the harbour town bus and ferry, would not hesitate to recommend Coastal Waters for a stay many thanks again hope to be back soon

Hotel was wonderful, spotless and hosts were fantastic. What a great quality for money and a lovely stay. Was given a car permit as well which was a plus as we drove down from Sussex. Would highly recommend staying here. One of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed at in a long time

Just about to leave after a fantastic 3 night stay at Coastal Waters. We have stayed in many hotels/b&b’s over the years in and around Torquay and I’m happy to say that Coastal Waters is the best. We will not stay anywhere else now. A very helpful and friendly welcome, even came out to the car and helped with luggage. The hotel is absolutely immaculately clean. Our room was very spacious with everything we needed. Again, immaculately clean and well furnished. It’s very close to the harbour, shops, bars, restaurants and main bus stops. There is parking very nearby and we were given a permit for the whole stay. On the whole a perfect stay. Can’t wait to return. Many many thanks

Just returned home from a 2 night stay. Raj the owner was excellent and made our stay very comfortable! Nothing too much trouble! Gave us a parking permit which was great! Arrived early and when we got back our case was ok our room! Comfortable bed and pillows! Tea making facilities! Cleanliness was amazing! Breakfast was great! cereals and toast tea and coffee help yourself! The location was great and nice restaurants near! The whole stay was great! Also the sun shone which made it better! Will be back next year and hopefully stay longer!
