Friendly hotel with a 10 minute walk to the beach. Old rooms but clean. Available breakfast. Supermarkets, restaurants and cafes all nearby.

Lovely family run hotel, Mercedes and her team were very helpful and attentive to our needs. We had room.only. breakfast was €5 for coffee, OJ and toasted ham and cheese roll. Ten minutes to beach and promenade with lots of places to eat. Room very clean. Hotel fronts main road through Torremolinos, bus stops and ATMs in abundance.

A little gem of a hotel. This family run hotel really is home from home. We arrived late in the evening and were warmly greeted at reception. Check-in was quick and we were allocated our room immediately. The bed was so comfy with clean fresh bedding, a double wardrobe with plenty of hangers and shelves to one side which was ample storage for both of us. The bathroom was very modern a great shower with constant hot water, the room also has a kettle which we were glad to have. The Aircon is excellent and a God send on those warmer nights. The balcony has a table with 2 chairs, we were to the back of the hotel therefore we had a mountain view. Free WiFi throughout the hotel. There are rooms to the front which overlooked the main road. The pool, garden and sunbathing areas are immaculately kept and lovely to relax around. Our room was cleaned daily, fresh towels, loo roll provided and a lovely housekeeper who takes great pride in her work and seemed to love her job, always greeted the guests on the corridors. The bus stop is right outside the hotel, €1.70 per journey no matter how long or short a journey. We travelled to Málaga City, Mijas, Torremolinos centre. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach, where you'll find all the restaurants, bars etc. An Aldi and Lidl a short walk away. The staff... What can we say, absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they definitely go over and beyond to help their guests. One lady in particular at reception is a wealth of information of places to visit providing us with bus routes, bus numbers, bus stops to get to different towns and villages, she really knows her stuff. Not once did we ever pass reception that we were not acknowledged or greeted by the staff. This was our 1st time staying at a family run hotel, the personal service provided here could never be met in any of the large corporate hotels anywhere. This hotel is a hidden gem. I would highly recommend Hotel Carmen Teresa... Thank you all for looking after us so well. We have fallen in love with Hotel Carmen Teresa and we will definitely return in the future...

The hotel is not a Marriott or other named 5* hotel but if you’re looking for a good clean hotel that isn’t too far to visit the beach, marina or other places this hotel is a great choice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Eating out is your best bet. Limited breakfast choices and only pizza available during my stay but enough places nearby for meals. It is the staff here that have made my stay so enjoyable. For the price the hotel is well worth a try.

A lovely 4 night stay in this pretty, clean and charming small hotel whilst meeting friends staying in nearby Amaragua. I would highly recommend it. All staff are most helpful and courteous. There is a very nice tranquil atmosphere, peace, and lovely smell throughout. There is storage for luggage on checkout day and the receptionist booked a very good taxi service to airport 20 mins away €22.

Really great staff. Reception lent me an adaptor when I realised I'd forgotten mine and also booked me a very reasonable taxi to the airport for a flight at silly o'clock. Spotlessly clean, handy location, basic breakfast and a garden to have it in. Would go back again

Nice hotel that's very central but quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. 24 hr desk. Outside area is well kept, pool area clean. We stayed in a small basic double room with aircon, balcony and TV with plenty of English channels. Very good value for money for time of year. (July)
