Hotel from the comunist era. Staff was nice, breakfast rather poor, so are the rooms, outdated and not up to 4 stars standard. You get what you pay for, it’s pretty cheap :)

The hotel is clean and tidy. Although the bathroom is not big, it has everything you need. It is rare to encounter one that separates shampoo and shower gel, and also provides body lotion, which makes you feel at home. Lovely staff but room was a bit tired and dated, needs a refurb. Also a/c unit in the room was really loud and rattled. Not what I expected from a 4* hotel, although location was great, 5 minutes from the old town.

This is pretty standard "Mercure" - absolutely average hotel, which serves its purpose for short city stay. 5 minutes pleasant walk to old city center. Clean, decent size room, beds comfortable. Good water pressure. Good breakfast. Large car parking in front of hotel. Lack of electricity sockets by the bed. Lobby bar closes early, at 22:00. Would recommend, especially if you are with car.

Below average Mercure. Breakfast is good but rooms are tired and in need of a refurb. We had no wifi for the 3 days we were there as the router wasn't working and they "couldn't get someone to fix it over the weekend" Good location but not the best hotel in Torun but the room rate was attractive. Stay here if you can get a good room rate but don't expect a 4 star experience.

This is an older property but is well maintained. The staff here are excellent, and the restaurant was outstanding. The only complaint really is that there weren't many plugs in the room. You'd have to unplug something to plug something else in. More of an inconvenience than anything else really.
