It was clean. The staff was very nice, they spoke English. There were several on-site parking spaces, these were all very positive. However, the beds were very hard, just a plat of wood, and a very thin mattress, even my children had a difficult time sleeping on them. I have slept on many beds in Japan, and these were the most uncomfortable that I have slept on in four years. I would definitely recommend bringing your own pad or mattress to this location. The other other guests were also quite loud, though that is not the fault of this hotel, but the walls and doors were very thin so you could hear everything going on in the hallway, including being woken up to hairdryers.

Rooms are large and the beds are warm. Nice big common area and I hardly saw other patrons, so there was little competition for the shared showers or sinks. Wifi signal is good throughout the building.
You can also go star-gazing from the room, which is a unique touch!

Nice guesthouse, great value! The room was small, but the guesthouse was comfortable and reasonably priced.

We stayed with 2 adults and 2 children (4 years & 8 months). All the staff were very kind and I had a great time. The rooms were clean and it was very comfortable. I was able to use the kitchen freely, so I was saved even with baby food for my child. It was very comfortable because I felt like I was at home! It seems that the child enjoyed the first bunk bed! The location was good and it was easy to access various places!

The manager of the facility was very friendly and warmly welcomed our family (including a 3-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl) who didn't know right from left in Tottori.
If I ever go to Tottori, I will stay here again!

There were few parking lots, so it was first come, first served.
There are many one-way roads in the surrounding area, and the width of the road is narrow, but it was easy to understand.
There are showers in the facility, but there are several public baths in the neighborhood and you can get discount coupons.
Pamphlets and other information about Tottori Prefecture were provided, and I was able to shop and eat at a great price using the coupons listed there.
Private houses are densely built around the facility, and it is a little far from the downtown area, so it was quiet at night.
As other reviewers have said, the mattress on the bed was sore and painful.
The host was very friendly and very kind, and I would like to use it again.
