Hotel les Capitouls Toulouse Centre - Handwritten Collection

Good location, great and clean, unique english style design, modern, relaxed ambience and friendly staff, but when take lift to level, still need climb up some staircase before access to room

This hotel was superbly located for my one night stay in the city and provided a luxury stay at reasonable value. The entrance is beautiful and the lobby doubles up as the bar as well as reception. The greeting was friendly and checking in seamless and quick. All of the communal area are decorated in a unique modern taste giving a great cosy atmosphere. My room was on the third floor and although there are lifts there were a couple of steps along the corridors on the way to the room. It was a good size with plenty of storage everywhere. The art on the walls was great and kept up the cosy vibe. The folded gowns left on the bed were a nice touch and the small table was comfortable enough. Drink facilities were provided with both a kettle and coffee machine, with a large choice of pods. There was also a large bottle of complimentary water in the mini bar which was great. The bathroom was very small but perfectly clean and modern. Plenty of decent towels and nice toiletries were provided and despite the tight squeeze the bathroom space was a pleasure to use. The view over the adjacent building wasn’t anything memorable but sleep quality was great and there was no noise at all from other rooms or outside. Plenty of electric sockets were at both sides of the bed and the mix of lighting was pleasant. I could easily have stayed for a number of nights without getting uncomfortable. Due to my early check out I unfortunately wasn’t able to sample the food at breakfast but the dining area looked decent. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and on any future visits to the city will be staying again.
