This hotel is not modern but however it has a particular charm to it. Hotel is spacious, rooms are super clean and spacious. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. Service staff are so nice and helpful. Carpark is easy and available. My wife and I really enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Drive to the Tateyama station where Alpine route starts was easy and near. Around 6 mins from hotel.

Very unique stay. Very good customer service from reception. They explained in details and give suggestion to Tateyama due to we need to buy tixs on the spot and they do provide FREE transportation to station which is superb and nice FREE bar which have coffee, tea, softies, water. Thank you.

The hotel is a bit old, but it has a good public bath and nice to have free drink in the lobby from 7am to 9pm

Excellent. Will definitely stay when returning again. Delicious dinner and breakfast with attentive service. Great experience overall. Hotel was comfortably warm despite snowing during our stay. The staff even cleared the snow on our car in the morning before we left. Very thoughtful. Thanks to all the staff for wonderful stay.

Hotel is 3km away from Tateyama station, good place to stay for Kurobe Alphine Route. Staff were helpful in explaining all details and directions for the Alphine Route,even helped us to reserve car delivery at the station a day in advance. Dinner and breakfast were good,very satisfying.

I arrived at Tateyama Station early to take the Tateyama Cable Car, but since there was still time before departure, I went into the hotel around 10 AM and requested an early check-in. However, I was unable to enter because other guests had not yet checked out. Nevertheless, they allowed me to rest and have a drink in the lounge, drove me to the station in time for the cable car, picked me up again when I returned late, and left my luggage in the room beforehand. The hot springs were truly wonderful, and the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were excellent. It was a better hotel than accommodations in Switzerland or other countries bordering the Alps. With the open-air hot springs where you can enjoy the cool breeze, it is a place perfect for relaxing in a location that feels even more like the Alps than the Alps themselves.

The staff were kind and the food was delicious. As for the bath, when the pressure was out of order, you could see the stars from the open-air bath, and a rainbow in the morning bath. It felt great!

The hot spring is very good, it is alkaline water, especially good for the skin, after soaking, the skin feels bright and comfortable. The hot spring is very large, there are various ways to soak, the outdoor open-air hot spring is also very beautiful, there is a bubble pool indoors, and there is also a strong impact to heal tired legs. The kaiseki cuisine is delicious, Toyama Prefecture has very good seafood, every night is very exquisite. The waiters are very good, and there are also waiters who understand Chinese. There is a spectacular snow scene in winter, and there are two medium-sized ski resorts next to it, which is convenient for skiing.

The hotel I booked in Tateyama Kurobe for adjustment was very big. The front desk clerk was very kind and allowed me to check in early, which I deserve a thumbs up for. The location was a little remote, but there was a free shuttle to the station so it was okay.

The hotel said they had a car to pick up the hotel...but the only problem was that I couldn't get through by phone...I almost had to walk from Tateyama Station to the hotel. Fortunately, a hotel shuttle bus came...otherwise, I would have been exhausted walking up the mountain to the hotel...I suggest that the hotel put the shuttle service time information online so that guests can easily understand it. The hotel was very good. There was a domestic service staff in the restaurant who explained everything in Chinese, which was really considerate.

It's an impressive place with clean air in the mountains. People of older age groups would like this kind of place, but there are large luggage and lottery machines for children, so it would be good to bring young children. The meal is a ryokan-style formal meal, so it's not a buffet, which is good, but this hotel is confusing about which age group it is thinking of and how to use the facilities.

The pick-up service was quite timely. The Japanese-style room was relatively large. The hot spring had an outdoor area. The indoor hot spring area was quite large. The outdoor water felt very good for the skin. It was slippery after soaking. You could enjoy the scenery while bathing. The hotel provided yukatas of various colors, which you could wear to take pictures in the snow. There were no small shops in and around the hotel. Unlike some large hot spring hotels that have many supermarkets like 7/11, there was no place to go shopping when you were free.
