Meadowlands Hotel

We recently stayed at The meadows hotel in Tralee for one night , The reception staff where very nice and welcoming our arrival, The double room was large and had a bath with overhead shower and plenty of room for guests toiletries beside the sink which was large , The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was well soundproofed so we had a great nights sleep, There are plenty of spacious seating areas for a quiet drink or a lovely bar with background music and a large screen for watching live sports etc but the sound is not to loud as not to be able to have a conversation with anyone, Bar staff also helpful, Breakfast was excellent with your tea/coffee and warm food order taken by the waiting staff who I must compliment for there friendliness and professionalism at all times as nothing was to much bother, You can also help yourself from the continental assortment which again was excellent consisting of fresh fruit, Breads , cereal, jams , Ect , I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a short or long stay if touring this part of the world, Also there is plenty of parking at the hotel so had no problems getting parked in a safe place, Thanks to all the staff who made us welcome we really appreciate it, We will definitely return soon 😁

Meadowlands is a nice hotel, madly let down by its ancient and ineffective plumbing. The toilet didn't flush properly, the taps were difficult to turn on and off properly and the shower was pathetic, with no water pressure at all. However the staff were lovely. Breakfast was mediocre, though served very swiftly. Frank's Bar served an excellent evening meal which was very good value for money.

* Experience was very good, beyond expectation. * Service was outstanding at dinner and breakfast tables, also when we arrived and departed. Staff were very friendly. * Room was big and comfortable. We loved the bathroom tiles and hotel décor. * Good location and walking distance from town center. * Food was relishing. * Bar was vibrant and energetic for watching a game or enjoying a pint.

It was a fantastic stay again at the meadowlands hotel ,was there with a very large group of bikers friends on a trip around Tipperary ,Limerick ,and Kerry. Stayed for 2 nights and we had a full meal on Saturday night , we had a four course meal in the banquet room ,There was loads of options on the menu, and also a vegetarian option. The staff on the night were very professional and helpful, and made us all feel very welcome .it was a pleasure to be there ,from Start to Finnish of meal and helped to make the meal a lovely experience .the food itself was of excellent quality and tasted amazing .would like to mention Marie ,one of the waiting staff as she served me at the meal and also breakfast on Sunday morning, and later that day also .She is a a fantastic advertisement for the hotel as part of the waiting staff, along with all her colleagues .they all made the guest experience fantastic. There are friendly and smiling and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and loads of space ,great size bathroom with a very comfortable bed. there is also a lift in hotel so any one with mobility issues is a big help. The breakfast on Sunday and Monday was plentiful ,with loads of options ,they had a continental buffet in the morning and also a hot breakfast cooked to order .so there was loads of choices and you definitely did not leave hungry. Also would like to mention reception as check in was very smooth on Saturday after a long spin ,while all you like to do is get to your room and relax for a bit , was chatting to a lovely lady on reception called Geraldine on Sunday and she was very helpful and friendly. and one of the managers too. As it happens on Monday when i was preparing to leave was talking to Geraldine again and also Justyna whose was over housekeeping .they make the stay brilliant as they were so friendly, would definitely recommend the meadowlands hotel to anyone ,and also its biker friendly hotel too. Thanks again to all the staff and management of the hotel on a fantastic weekend and would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel again for a short three nights midweek break. We had a very good tasty breakfast every morning and we had dinner in the bar on the first night of our stay. We'll probably be back again for another stay in a few months time.

From start to finish I cannot praise this hotel enough. Fantastic staff and wonderful food which was great value. So easy to get up from town and yet great privacy. Can’t wait to go back. I had the most amazing dinner in the bar. Top class. Had amazing cheese platter in my room. Slept so well and the hotel is so clean. So easy to controls heating etc. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation

I am a regular visitor to The Meadowlands as I host meetings there on quite a number of weekends. First impression is the warm welcome at reception - usually Cathy or Helen - which is equal to all irrespective of your first visit or hundredth. Their local knowledge has helped me out on quite a number of occasions. Meeting rooms are comfortable and well appointed with a level of detail to set up unparalleled. Dining choices and quality are nothing short of excellent - while they may seem simple choices, I heartily recommend both house made brown bread and the fabulous Baileys porridge. Excellent service from Aidan and crew in the restaurant assists in enjoying breakfast.. Back to meetings. A pleasant difference from most of the venues I use is the room refresh at lunch. Fresh bottles of both sparkling and still water keep us refreshed into the afternoon. Thank you Justyna. I haven't availed of accommodation yet but it is only a matter of time. And so to depart. After the mandatory chat with Helen or Cathy, the road is much shortened with the thought that, in spite of a 410km round trip, I'll be back very soon and looking forward to my return visit. Kudos to John and team..

I enjoyed my stay the staff were helpful and friendly especially the manger lady in the bar at evening time when I stayed. The rooms are spacious and cosy. Breakfast was pretty good also. Would have no problem staying again.

LJMU GAA travelled to Tralee in Feb 2024 and were given a warm welcome to the Meadowlands Hotel in Tralee. We were made feel welcome from the arrival until our departure. All rooms provided to the teams were first class, bar food was also top of the range. Features such as the use of the conference rooms also were a generous addition and were greatly appreciated by the team and management. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times, highly recommended
