Nice stay. But 2 cons.
Parking place the ground have some massive holes. So for 18 eur you get bumpy
The dinner buffet, all the notes was in German. That’s okay, but really hard to see what food were vegetarian and what was not.

Don’t get a room facing the ‘park’ - what you get is a room facing the bus station with diesel driven noisy buses arriving and leaving around the clock. A true stressful experience— quite the opposite of the hotel promise. The buffet is second to none and the room furniture and bathroom are fine. However, the in-room entertainment is poor. German tv channels and no way to connect your own devices. Comparable hotels have built-in connections for Apple and Android devices allowing guests to bring their own streaming services Bad location next to bus station and poor in-room entertainment options - no more than three stars

This spa hotel is simply the best! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by genuinely friendly, helpful and well-informed personnel. Reception was extremely welcoming and clear in their communication. Our room was fabulous, and just what we ordered (penthouse suite with sea view), and clean as can be. The spa was much larger and more impressive than we expected. Being able to swim from the indoor pool to the outdoor (heated) pool on a cool October day was fabulous! The service and food at the bar were excellent, especially with entertainment every evening we were there. The breakfast and dinner room was tasteful, bright and well ordered, especially booking a time in advance and having a table waiting and a server ready to take your beverage order within minutes. So many hotel breakast rooms are chaotic, but this one had everything in order. The only thing I might do different if I were king of the hotel would be to focus on improving the dinner buffet. It was difficult to put together a complete meal -- there are certain things, like rice, that should always be offered, for example -- and the pasta dishes were not warm. By the way, the location is amazing with the beach prominade directly in front of you and the town center a lovely 10 minute walk away. This was our first visit to A-Rosa Travemünde but it won't be our last.

My wife and i went to A-ROSA in travemunde for a 3 day stay. It was a mixed experience at best. Immediately arrived at the hotel we went to the SPA to book massages for our stay. This was just not possible ! The staff insisted the SPA was open and the massages could be booked - but we failed to have even one - first available timeslot was 3 days later - when our stay was over. The area of the SPA was indeed open, but in hindsight we recognized disorganized staff and not "traffic" in the massage and service area. The most irritating part is really that staff insisted that all we asked for was available - when it was so clearly not. All in all a huge disappointment - and not to be recommended. Restaurants, food, bar was good - with good service and kind staff.

Sehr schönes und großzügiges Zimmer, die Möbel waren überhaupt nicht abgewohnt in unserem Zimmer ;o). Einziges Manko: das Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage, war leider etwas zu warm. Und die Parkgebühr mit 20,00 € pro Tag ist schon recht happig. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit reichhaltiger Auswahl. Die Dame an der Eierstation war top. Dann war ein männlicher Kollege am Start, der bei meinem Mann jedes Mal den Käse im Omelett vergessen hat :o(. Wir haben 1 x das Abendbuffet probiert - auch hier waren wir sehr zufrieden! Die Auswahl der Cocktails in der Bar ist sehr klein - zumindest in der Karte, wäre schön, wenn es hier mehr klassische Cocktails gäbe. Ganz besonders gut gefallen hat uns der Innen- und Außenpool! Die Mitarbeiter waren alle nett und aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Ambiente des Hotels ist gediegen, gepflegt und gemütlich. Leider sind die Möbel zum größten Teil in die Jahre gekommen. Das bemerkt man insbesondere im Altbau. Zimmer an sich ok, aber die Holzmöbel in einem sehr vernachlässigtem Zustand. Matratzen sehr weich. Das Personal ist unglaublich zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und arbeitet sehr professionell. Insbesondere die Mitarbeiter*innen an der Rezeption und Bar. Das Frühstück ist gut und vielseitig. Carls Bistro hat uns vom Essen nicht überzeugt. Das kennen wir vom Carls in Hamburg besser. Super schönes Hotel! Das Frühstück war überragend, es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt! Total schöne Saunalandschaft, Pool der nach draußen geht. Fitnessstudio inkl. Kursangebot.
Das einzige was zu bemängeln ist: der Parkplatz schien umsonst zu sein, beim auschecken kam dann die Rechnung von 15€ pro Tag. Das hätte man auch vorher sagen können…
