The Chapel Guest House

Well if you are looking for a quiet and friendly place to stay. Then this is the place to stay! Very clean and the morning breakfast, you cannt get enough. From cereal to full English with a Cornish twist, lovely... Tracey and Richard are lovely owners and any advice just ask and they cannot help you enough.

Arrived early and received a warm welcome and was let into our room early too Room and the whole place was fantastic full of character and charm. The bed was the best we've slept in really high guality Breakfast was amazing Nothing was any trouble and wouldn't hesitate to return if in the area again

The guest house was one of the most comfortable we have stayed in. I loved the decor and the building is stunning. We arrived for a family Wedding and were looking for somewhere to stay for a few nights and to get ready for the Wedding and we were not disappointed. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was extremely comfortable, clean. Breakfast was very fresh, tasty and an amazing start to the day. Thank you Tracy and Richard.

Do not hesitate to book this b&b!! I was due to be a bridesmaid at a wedding and needed to find somewhere in st austell to stay for the occasion. I’m very fussy when booking anything and do thorough research and decided on this b&b 10 months in advance. On the day I had to travel alone 7 hours from the north west as my husband was too poorly to come with me. I had the most lovely and warm welcome from Tracy and Richard. My room was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. I loved the chapel style as soon as I saw the pictures and it didn’t disappoint. Tracy has thought of everything to make the room comfortable! Little chocolates on the bedside tables, delicious biscuits with your tea, cotton wool pads on the dressing table. It was a real home from home cosy stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I had a full English both days and some chocolate croissants. Tracy was so helpful and friendly. She remembered everything her guests had told her and took an interest in what everyone had been up to. She was a joy to talk to. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into this place. I honestly don’t have a single complaint. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and the breakfast delicious. I’d book this place again without hesitation. Thank you

We had a one night stop on our way through Cornwall. The room was spotlessly clean and had luxury bed linen, towels, fittings etc. The hosts were very friendly and eager to please and the breakfast nicely cooked. Parking was easy. It’s a pity the bad weather prevented us from using the lovely garden area!

Good hosts, very comfy bed and pillows, great breakfast and good choice, quiet and peaceful 😊good base for touring around this side of Cornwall , we visited Porthscatho, St Mawes, Pentewan, Fowey, and more, really enjoyed it all.

We had a wonderful time at this guesthouse. We stayed in Room 5 which is a family room and very spacious and comfortable. Tracey and Richard were such friendly hosts, nothing is too much bother and they offer lots of advice. Lots of choice at breakfast, very flexible around vegetarian and lactose-free options. The garden bar is perfect for an evening drink if the weather’s good! This is a great base to visit Mevagissey, Charlestown (great restaurants), Fowey, Eden Project and tonnes of other local beaches and attractions. Overall this is a great find and wish them all the best for the future 😃

Had a 2 night stay at the beginning of July. Great spot for visiting the Eden Project. Our Hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was really lovely, we had a huge bed which was really comfortable. The room had all the amenities you could want - tea & coffee, toiletries etc. Pre-ordered breakfast was delicious.
