Place looks in disarray, old furnishings which dates back to the sixties, very beat up .. Bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, shower drain was clogged, had to step out .. Breakfast was skimpy .. In all my travels , never seen something like it.

I stayed here with my wife while in Italy. They had so-so showers. They were small and the head was pretty stopped up like it had not been cleaned in a long time The AC. Wi-Fi & safe worked. Slept well too

The size of the room was a positive feature. However the often unattended and insecure reception desk, noisy outlet pipe from the room above, leaky bathroom fittings and scratchy towels left a lot to be desired. The overall impression was old and tired in need of an upgrade.

Travel Agent...Booked with Intrepid Tours for private group trip and this hotel is subpar. 70s decore, no art on walls, towels are like sandpaper and look like they have been used. Asking to be moved to another hotel as I am embarrassed to host my group here.

Stayed here as part of an Intrepid group tour. The hotel is in a good location, the staff are helpful and the breakfast was OK. Unfortunately that's about it. The rooms were the worst we stayed in during out tour and were quite depressing. Actually put a dampener on our stay in Tropea. Bad choice on Intrepid's part with many of us questioning why we paid so much for our tour when this was the accommodation provided to us. If you are on a tight budget this may be OK due to the location, staff and breakfast.

Hotel needs a bit of renovation, but very clean, friendly staff (also speaks English) mattress/bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable,... Fridge and safe in the room, very noisy but ideal location for the train station and old town

Nice and comfortable hotel that offers a varied breakfast. It is located near the pedestrian area of the center of Tropea. There is easy parking nearby, otherwise the offers the "garage" service but you need to book in advance. Comfortable for a short stay with friends or alone
