Hotel Horizont

The place is in a great location. That hotel has been there forever :-) Although it's not entirely modern, we didn't mind because it was compensated for by the very kind and pleasant staff, the culinary artistry where the chefs created amazingly tasty and visually attractive dishes from ordinary ingredients. There was always enough food, continually replenished. I have celiac disease, so they were prepared for that too, with gluten-free baked goods for breakfast - bread and sweet marble cake. The chef always explained what I could and couldn't eat. In the basement, there's a gym and a pool (we didn't use it, although it was included in the price) and 2 table tennis courts (we used them, but there was a fee). Otherwise, everywhere was clean, parking was available. The animation programs for children were nice - we've experienced this animation company before at the Element Hotel in Lipno. Overall, we were satisfied and could stay there with our dog, and we definitely weren't the only ones. And moreover, the nature in the KRNAP (Krkonoše National Park) is amazing. The trails for tourists through the beautiful glacial cirques, alongside streams, and various plants and animals. Simply magnificent.

Nice stuff, good food , nice atmosphere, ski buses always on time . I spend there two weeks and i wish to stay longer, even if the winter is not so good there always you find places to ski. Rooms have always nice window with the nice pictures from the mountain.

Our family and friends visit Hotel Horizont every year and I hope this tradition will not change. It is a unique hotel with a friendly atmosphere, helpful, kind and dedicated staff. Maximum comfort, cleanliness and excellent cuisine are a matter of course here. Everything is adapted to any kind of activity: ski bus to the slopes, children's ski lift opposite the hotel, cable car to Snezka around the corner, sauna, swimming pool, whirlpool, gym, massage... For children, a parallel programme in the children's corner. In short, I recommend it!

Wonderful end-of-year holidays in this nice hotel: the stuff was friendly, the services from food, drinks to sauna and wellness were great, we also enjoyed the entertainment program. The children club was great for our kids. The views from the hotel room were stunning, as well as from the sky bar. The location is perfect for skiing. We hope to come back again.

Positives - ski bus, swimming pool, parking and staff friendly & helpful. Negatives - Tired decor in the apartment (Firn), toaster not working, having to pay for pool table, ping pong, bowling - should be inclusive for the very high prices they charged in December.Also, breakfast should be included not an extra.

The hotel equipment is very old, there has been no change in 20 years. The rooms are very small but the beds are comfortable. The staff at the reception was unpleasant and unfortunately gave us wrong information. The number of parking places in front of the hotel unfortunately does not match the capacity of the hotel. The price does not match the quality of the hotel and the services offered.

The Hotel is fantastic for a nice, cosy and family stay. Lots of activities indoors and outdoors, and fantastic and super friendly staff. Highly recommended!!! My son thinks it was his Best Christmas Eve ever!

Incredibly friendly staff - from the chef, to the masseurs, to the maids, to the bartenders at the famous Skybar 18. Great food, clean rooms, beautiful location and a nice family atmosphere. We will be back again.
