Walked into the full restaurant complety wet due to a heavy rain. No stuff was at the door showing us where to sit. So we went on, found a table. Put our coats on spare chairs to dry as all the hangers were full of other customers’ ones. The female stuff came not long after we sat down. After she had given us the menus she rudely told us to hang the coats up with the rest and that we are (2of us) are taking over the biggest table in the restaurant ( table for 4!) and that she will be moving us. Her attitude gone even worse as I politely answered that I am not putting my totally wet dry fast coat on other peoples dry ones. She walked off and came back with even worse attitude. Was planning to had meals and drinks there, that never happened thanks to this lady and never ever will happen….

When we said thé wine was spoiled, they became really unfriendly and didn't even want to listen. We ordered Halloumi that was completely burned. When saying so, they really rudely said leave the restaurant if you don't like the food. There was no understanding at all ... very frustrating so a bad experience!

I looked for a traditional hotel in the centre of Spindleruv Mlyn , so that it is near to chairlifts and restaurants. It was a very comfortable place to stay, lovely view, over the river Elbe, great breakfasts and very helpful staff and owner, who couldn’t do enough. Loved it.

We came only for food in the restaurant and it was simply breathtaking. The prices are little bit higher but nothing serious. The food is excellent. The staff is also nice. I don't know what else to write : D

We are at the restaurant 3 nights out of 4 we stayed in Špindlerův Mlýn. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good quality and well prepared. It’s was very reasonable priced and good value. It’s an honest restaurant to enjoy honest, tasty food. Very pleasant and worth a visit. Good location too.

Die Lage ist super, allerdings sind die 4 Sterne nicht gerechtfertigt.
Sämtliche Türen quietschen, sodass man die Zimmernachbarn hört. Des Weiteren ist das Hotel recht hellhörig. Während des gesamten Aufenthalts (1 Woche) wurde das Zimmer nicht gereinigt inkl. des Badezimmers. Im Bad sammelte sich der Staub und der Schimmel (an der Decke und in der Dusche). Man hört die ganze Zeit in regelmäßigen Abständen ein Brummen, was für einen gesunden Schlaf nicht gerade förderlich ist. Der Wellness Bereich kostet extra. Die Parksituation ist schwierig. Das Abendessen im Hotel ist überteuert. Es bietet sich an, eine Alternative zu suchen.

Wir haben diese Woche zum zweiten Mal in diesem typischen tschechischen Restaurant gespeist. Zur Begrüßung entschuldigte sich die Kellnerin, dass vorn alles ausgebucht sei, wir aber gern im Buffetbereich speisen könnten. Es daure allerdings etwas länger. Obwohl das erste Mal schon ein paar Tage ist, konnte sich die Kellnerin dann bei der Bestellung noch an die vegetarischen Sonderwünsche unserer Tochter erinnern! Wir waren wieder begeistert von diesen herrlich ehrlichen und handgemachten Speisen. Unser Sohn ganz besonders von den gefüllten Riesenknödel mit Vanillesoße und Mohn! Ein Gedicht! Und dann noch dieser Service! Da können sich viele deutsche, aber auch einige hier ansässige Gastronomiebetriebe ein Beispiel dran nehmen! Gern wieder 😊… und länger gedauert hat es überhaupt nicht…😎
