Le Journey Luxury Cruise

Terrible experience – absolutely not luxury, ruined my birthday I had booked the Presidential Suite on this cruise, expecting a truly special experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments in my travels. 1. Dirty and old room – The suite was extremely old, run-down, and dirty. Furniture was worn out, things were broken, and the overall condition was far from what the photos on Trip.com had promised. The reality looked nothing like the pictures – it was misleading advertising. 2. No birthday decoration as promised – Before arrival, I contacted the manager and specifically asked to decorate the room for my birthday. I was assured this would be arranged. To my surprise, when we arrived, the room was not decorated at all. Such a special day was simply ignored. 3. False information about the bathroom – I had even sent a photo of the bathroom I expected and was told that yes, our suite would have the same. This turned out to be completely untrue – there was no such bathroom. 4. Presidential Suite but no transfer included – I booked the most expensive category, yet when I asked for a transfer from my hotel in Halong (only 10 minutes away), it was not included and I was forced to pay separately. This is absurd for what is supposed to be a luxury cruise. 5. Service at zero level – Staff were indifferent, not attentive at all, and clearly not trained for luxury hospitality. No effort was made to fix the situation or apologize properly. In the end, my birthday was ruined. I could not even cancel or leave because it was a cruise – I was stuck in this horrible experience for 24 hours. This place is far from luxury. It is outdated, misrepresented, and managed poorly. If you value your time, money, and special occasions – stay away!!!

Amazing hospitality from the crew. Very friendly staff and managers Haa and Peter. Good food and best views of halong bay. Overall a very pleasant experience for me and my family with our toddler ❤️

I participated in this three-day, two-night trip alone with my two children. Before the trip, the online service staff informed me that it was suitable for children and assured me that I could enjoy the journey. The communication and transfers from Hanoi to the cruise ship were excellent! We arrived in Hanoi at 07:00, but were exhausted and rested in a cafe. Even though we changed our pick-up location on the same day, the luxurious shuttle bus still safely transported us to the pier. During the trip, I am very grateful to all the staff on the Le Journey Luxury Cruise, especially Mark, who took care of us for three days and two nights, and Owen, who took us to Viet Hai Village on the second day. They were thoughtful and provided us with a sense of adventure while ensuring our complete safety. I loved the Lan Ha Bay itinerary, including cycling through the fields, experiencing the amazing fish foot massage, kayaking freely in Lan Ha Bay to explore caves, and walking on the fine sand of the mysterious white beach. Thank you! The cruise room was spacious, comfortable, and fragrant! We could fully immerse ourselves in the beautiful scenery of Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. The sailing was comfortable, and I loved the cruise route selection, which allowed us to get closer to the beautiful scenery and escape the hustle and bustle. The food on the cruise was also excellent! Whether it was the buffet at lunch, the set menu at dinner, or the set menu at Viet Hai Village, everything was delightful and full of surprises! I highly recommend the Le Journey Luxury Cruise three-day, two-night itinerary for families with children. The activities, such as cycling in Viet Hai Village and the fish massage, made it an unforgettable adventure for the kids!

We had a great experience with Le Journey Cruises. They organized everything for us, from the transportation from Hanoi and back, to rearranging our bookings several times in order to accommodate our room requests. They were extremely helpful and communicated with us frequently by WhatsApp to ensure we were well looked after, and even took the time to meet with us at our hotel at the end of the trip to confirm that everything had gone well. I was very satisfied with the whole experience and would recommend it to anyone.

I have booked many flights/hotels with trip.com, this was my first experience/hotel. Everything was very smooth and coordinated. They even messaged me about transportation to and from before I could message them. Everything was easy and we had a lovely time on our one night cruise. The cruise made sure every travel had enough to eat and that there was always something to do.

We had a great cruise, our deluxe room was very clean, spacious, and well equipped. Food was good, but I was a bit annoyed that breakfast is served between 6.15am - 7.15am which is great if you want to partake in the early morning activities but if you want to sleep in and not go on the early morning excursions you go hungry. Announcements over the intercom in the early hours of the morning were annoying and you should be able to turn that feature on or off if you don’t want to be woken up only emergency announcements would need to come through to all, so I would tweak the system and leave breakfast open to at least 9.00am for those that want to sleep in a bit. Cruise was good overall, two nights were enough. Crew were friendly and very helpful, thank you!
