Extended Stay America Suites - Tucson - Grant Road

Needed 1st floor but was given 3rd floor very hard for 84yr old grandparent to get to.The room was filthy dirty,and the bathroom had poop. Disgusting

We stay at this particular Extended Stay hotel fairly often as it is very convenient to the Tucson Medical Center. Almost always we have a clean, comfortable stay. This time our floors (vinyl flooring) were rather dirty and gritty. We were on 3rd floor. Everything else was good though!

We initially wanted to stay the night and leave in the morning however we walked in and the hotel room had a broken tv with the screen cracked and the room smelled of mold. We felt very uncomfortable and decided to leave about two hours later. Asked if we could get a refund and was told no because we checked in.

Room very old and Dirty, sink backup, ********** all other the bathroom walls and pillows were nasty. Hotel office closes so there’s no where to go for my issues. I want my money back

Paid for king room. Guaranteed and paid for in advance but the manager changed it to double bed with no notification or reason and when I asked about the rate change I was scoffed at with 'it's only 5 bucks but if you want to go through the refund process you can call *******' Not the point. I only wanted what I paid for. I didn't need attitude. I will not Be coming back and I would never recommend this location. Breakfest was granola bars in front office. No ice machine and if you want dishes for the kitchen in your room, you'll need to check them out of the office like a library.

Frustrated with communications about room change from handicap to regular accommodations

Stayed here for three nights and an incredible rate but a bit far from the university but I wanted to give it a try. I think my most impressive thing was how thorough they were in saying "no smoking"to which I think I would absolutely return as they do a good job of, keeping the rooms smoke-free despite people staying here for potentially extended periods. At one point I needed to call the front desk and they came immediately to my room for help and that was impressive as well. It's a good deal, spacious, very comfortable beds, with a kitchenette and a CVS next-door if you needed anything that you might've forgotten. On my last day, I discovered that my lounge chair actually extends into a lounge chair. Brilliant! There's a desk and a chair and a large screen TV. The only thing that is missing is that I can't mirror. My TV shows from my phone to the TV but other than that, I thought this was a very Decent place to stay, spacious and clean with no strange smells and a great deal with a great staff. **okay went from 4 to 3 due to a small bug issue in final 24 hours, & bites which I recognize could happen at any price range. ***Okay final morning 2 more bugs found- After they changed my sheets, not sure where they live or are coming from? I think they need to stay on top of bug issue, despite how great my review was- i left with the creepy crawly worries-it has taken me a week to isolate my suitcase and treat the bag, my clothes & contents accordingly and thoroughly.

The worst place where the deteriorated furniture and very dirty carpets came in, it's really disgusting, they offer breakfast that doesn't just have coffee and some snacks.
