I had an OUTSTANDING experience at Home2 Suites' downtown Tucson location! From the front desk to the awesome breakfast, nothing but excellence! A special call out to the breakfast staff for the quality of the food, cleanliness, and authentic hospitality and genuine warmth extended by Amanda and her colleague. They go out of their way to make you feel at home! WELL DONE!! Look no further for a great hotel next time you visit Tucson. GB Alcock Jr.

Homeless people outside and you would't want to walk to nearby restaurants as I was advised when I called after a long work day and they said they were within 5 minutes walking distance...homeless people and not a very good area. I drove around forever to find a restaurant and parking is horrible.

While the staff members I encountered were friendly and pleasant, my experience was severely overshadowed by the unacceptable state of my room and a lack of follow-through from the management team. ​The Cleanliness Issues: Upon arrival, we discovered several hygiene concerns that should have been caught by basic housekeeping: ​Dirty Linens: The bedsheets had a visible dried substance on them. ​Bathroom Hygiene: There was hair from a previous guest throughout the shower. ​Amenities: The refrigerator had not been wiped down and contained spills from prior use. ​The Service Failure: We reported these issues to the front desk and specifically requested that the sheets be changed and the room be cleaned the following morning. We returned in the evening to find that nothing had been addressed. Incredibly, the bed had been remade using the same dirty sheets, despite the stains being clearly visible through the fabric. ​Ultimately, we had to source clean linens and change the bed ourselves. ​Resolution: While I appreciate the verbal apology, being told the front desk "forgot" to relay the request does not rectify the situation. I paid for a clean, professional lodging experience and instead spent my time managing basic housekeeping tasks. Given that we spent our stay in "someone else’s filth," I would expected an offer to be compensated for our stay.

My room wasnt cleaned for 3 days. I had to ask to have the garbage removed. No care in cleanliness. Hallway carpets covered in crumbs, chips. A salad was dropped by the elevator. Took 24 hours to pick some of it up, after I asked them. Front desk staff not overly welcoming. They sit behind the counter, no interaction with guests coming in and out. It seemed like an inconvenience when I had a question. The housekeeping staff were friendly, but were not attentive to the rooms needs. The pool was great. Towels were stocked, and the deck area clean. The breakfast buffet was good. Great attendant/staff always refilling the food and cleaning. Property is not close to any restaurants or shopping. You would need to drive to get anything. I did get an early check in, which was appreciated. Overall, Id rate this property as a 6/10
