Residence Inn Tulsa Downtown

Very clean room! Pillows were uncomfortable but most hotel pillows are. We thought there was going to be reception because online says they do a manager's reception with snacks and food Monday though Wednesday. So you guys might want to update that. So we ended up going out for dinner then over to The Mark. The pool was very cloudy but still did the job of cooling us off. Staff was very nice as well.

The room was large and accommodating. There was a parking lot that would fit our 15 passenger van. The room by the door to the parking lot was a little loud. Breakfast was nothing special, usual Marriot breakfast.

Checkin was very easy, parking was good. The room was very clean and the bed was lovely and comfortable. We do like the refrigerator in a room, so handy being on a road trip. Metal cutlery would be nice or even compostable cutlery rather than all plastic - in the breakfast area.

Here are my negatives. No covered parking options (they do have a gated lot that you have to pay for), we got no sleep because of the wind blowing through AC units “whistling” all night on an adjacent roof right outside my window (this was very loud and never stopped), weird shower door that is open on half with no ability to close so water got everywhere, there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom ceiling but there was no way to actually use it as none of the wall switches turned it on, in return bathroom was steamy when trying to get ready, corners of floors were not clean with hair pilled up, cleaning supplies were left in my room, ants on the breakfast counters in the lobby during breakfast, oh and no ice bucket which is standard in every hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Positives: kitchenette with everything, comfy bed, free breakfast, and front desk staff were great.

Clean, spacious rooms, comfy beds, good coffee, great staff, fantastic location. Would absolutely stay here again!

Nice employees but major management problems. Not enough employees at critical times (long lines/wait). No maintenance on duty. First room had non-working toilet. After waiting in line was moved (no maint) to a second room which had no a/c … setpoint 65 but temp 81 blowing warm air. Waited in line again to get moved to third room. Temp was 82 in this room but when turned to a/c it felt like it was cooling. Took 5 hours to cool down to 70 Poorly run, I feel bad for the help.

Luckily, I was solo and going to a concert, but try to avoid staying on the ground floor rooms by the parking lot. That entrance/exit door is consistently slamming all eve and early morning with people going in & out.

Room was spotless. Hotel lobby area was on-point for large family gathering. Bathroom missing toilet paper holder so that was kind of gross to me. The lighting in all areas of room was not bright enough to apply make-up. The bartender was strange and made us uncomfortable. The hotel personnel were OUTSTANDING and immediate in addressing our concerns. We will definitely return.

Great room for our family of 5, great location for a quick walk to the concert venue, breakfast was tasty and super friendly staff! Would absolutely stay again!
