Pro’s. Our room with 4 beds had a nice layout and there was lots of space. The place is beautiful and a nice location right on the beach. Cons: Our room was noisy and next to the road and had dead cockroaches on the floor after the first night, they must have sprayed the night before. Probably does not happen all the time as this only happened the first night but ugh. They should have left the room vacant another night after spraying. We paid over $400 USD/ night for our room and even though we were paying such exorbitant pricing for a room they still told us not to bring outside food and beverages if you want to sit on the beach and use their lounge chairs. Restaurant has good food but expensive and has no children’s menu, if you have little kids that take one bite and that’s it you are better off going some place else to eat near by (that said, inexpensive dining choices nearby are limited) Beach location is great but if you want to walk on the road to grab something at the store or go to a bank it is very narrow and some what dangerous to walk due to traffic. Room did not have a fridge or tv Only accept cash at the restaurant

First impressions were great, looked like a nice place to eat. The hostess advised it was cash only and as we didn't have cash we went to leave, the hostess then said we could pay by transferwise and we agreed to do that. Sat down ordered food, the staff at this point were all very polite and nice. The food was average and actually very overpriced but this wouldn't of been an issue but for the rudeness at the end. When I asked for the bill another woman came over and said I believe you are paying by transferwise of which I said yes as this was what was agreed at the beginning. I said "all I need is your email," even before I could finish explaining that is how it worked she rudely cut me off, "that's not how it works, it's an account number, and we are only doing this as an exception for you." She was extremely rude with the way she spoken to us and ruined our night. For future reference you can pay by email, the recipient simply needs to input the bank details instead of forcing the sender, in my case customer to do it. Also don't advise customers this is a payment method if you are going to be so rude about it afterwards. It really let down the whole experience. If you don't want to take card payments because you want to avoid taxes, I actually have no issues with that but being rude to a customer who is out to enjoy an evening on holiday.. perhaps it's not the best role for you if being polite is such a difficulty.

It’s hard to review a place when you don’t know it. Tulum beach .. this is the BEST Simple homey location to be if that’s what you want. The breakfast is great. Dinner expensive and flavourless but sunrise and coffee. Well THE BEST. Staff excellent non invasive, room clean and me, happy. Tulum beach is 5star Tulum town is disaster That’s it
