My husband, daughter and I highly recommend this very well situated accommodation in Tulum Centro. What we loved most about this place: LOCATION- it is walking distance to a lot of the must go-to restaurants ( & the shopping areas! ) Very centrally located. It is also almost at the corner of a road that has a lot of street food carts so if you want to grab a cheap, authentic Mexican meal, it is but a few steps away. NEW, MODERN & STYLISH- this is a fairly new build, is aesthetically pleasing & it paid attention to the details ( at least most of it ). Sheets are of high quality, as are the white towels ( Zara Home ), mattress was the perfect mix of soft yet firm, the toiletries provided were of high quality that we actually switched to using theirs instead of what we brought ( a rare occurrence ). Cutlery, plates & glasses were all of good quality, fresh coffee beans & tea were provided as was a water dispenser that had both hot & cold ( we got the bigger unit with the kitchen & living room ) and we were greeted with a very wonderful scent as soon as we walked into the unit. All these things show that the host truly cares about YOUR stay! POOL- too busy to have used it but it is a welcome amenity to have SERVICE- wonderful, responsive and generous host that bent over backwards to give us a great stay! Case in point: The aircon unit in our master’s bedroom was defective & not cooling & a technician wasn’t available to repair it, but our gracious host immediately remedied that by offering us a stay in another bedroom ( the next unit ) so that we could sleep in comfort. She also gave us great local tips when I asked for some & was generous in extending our hours by a little bit (as it was possible then) . Her gracious gesture allowed us some time to shower as we were coming in from a day trip. So, thank you, El Brujo! We will gladly recommend El Brujo because it ticks ALL my 3 boxes of a great accommodation- LOCATION, GREAT VALUE & even GREATER SERVICE!
