Wakax Hacienda - Cenote & Boutique Hotel

I really enjoyed the experience at Wakax hacienda. Staying in the jungle in beautiful accommodation and biking around to swim in a beautiful cenote was amazing. We also did the cycling and underground cave tour with David and he was great. My daughter was a bit nervous and he was really reassuring to her and we really enjoyed the experience. Only thing that slightly lets the hotel down is the restaurant…everything was nice and service was great but I would expect a higher standard given the fantastic quality of hotel especially on the breakfast choice. However I would definitely recommend this hotel and experience.

Very nice place. Excellent staff, good restaurant. Overall, kind of dull. Active if you want to partake in on site tours daily, which are limited. Pools unkempt, and largely unstaffed. A bare bones experience for a Michelin started hotel.

Wakax has excellent service, attentive employes, cool activities, stunning location and even more stunning buildings and rooms. They offer yoga and day tours with a guide. Our guide David was one of the best guides ever! Very insightful, funny, great overview, knowledge, deep thoughts regarding nature, animals and people. I could hear him talk forever. Very cool and professional. He taught us so much and showed us so many cool places! The food in the restaurant was very tasty and healthy. We highly recommend this hotel – even just for a couple of days. I have never relaxed so much. We will definitely come back. It’s everything that I dreamed about

What an absolutely fantastic unique hotel experience in Tulum, Mexico! The hotel is gorgeous, elegant yet with a rustic old world feel. The rooms are high end with excellent linens and bathroom products. The restaurant offers delicious meals and the bar is highly recommended. The service is personal and the staff makes you feel as if you are the only guest. It is not on the beach but the jungle side location with two spectacular swimmable cenotes is a unique and highly recommended activity! They also offer a guided tour of the connected underground cenote structure which is not only informative and highly detailed but so enjoyable due to Daniel, the on site guide.

This was the most beautiful hotel I’ve seen in Mexico! Our stay was so sublime and relaxing. The Hacienda in the middle of the jungle made us disconnect from everything and we could properly have a relaxing time. The service was excellent at the front desk and at the restaurant. The food was very good, and everybody should try their cocktails! Thank you so much for the guide that has accompanied us with the activities that Hacienda Wakax proposed in the territory of the hotel. We had a very calming ride on a paddle board across the lake and had so much fun exploring the underground Cenote. The guide knew so much and taught us so many interesting things. I would definitely go back to this hotel in Tulum the next time I’m coming to Mexico!

Its located in the middle of cenotes and jungle a beautiful place , please dont leave without doing a cenote underground tour with David very educative and easy person

I celebrated my 60th birthday in Wakax. We were 22 women and stayed for three nights. It was such a great experience! We rode bikes to visit the hacienda, swam in the cenote, did paddle board on the lake, swam in the underground river, we did yoga in the mornings, some had massages, other temazcal. We had great meals!! It’s such a magical place! Once you visit you’ll want to go back!
