The location is very good, right at the main entrance of the ancient city, with the Porte de France at the door and the main attractions nearby. It's not far from the train station and can be reached on foot. The hotel itself is a historical building. Although it is very old, the rooms are clean. The service staff at the front desk and restaurant are very enthusiastic.

The room is so old! A large wardrobe takes up half of my room. I went to see a friend's room and it was a little better. This historic hotel, boasting a few centuries of respectable heritage, enjoys a prime location adjacent to the French gate, the heart of Tunis. While the room's small size slightly compromised comfort, its proximity to high traffic areas posed a challenge for my asthma (perhaps I should have kept the windows closed). A notable highlight was the courteous staff, who kindly provided us with umbrellas when raining.
