Turpan Hostels

As at August 2022, there is daily mucelic acid testing in the park next to the hotel, from 08:20-11:00. Using the Xinjiang health code, I was able to get tested there (as a foreigner) and the results showed up on the app. So, I didn't need to go into a hospital. The hotel is also a short walk away from the museum and a main street with a lot of restaurants that seemed to be popular. Taxis regularly passed in front of the hotel (Didi took a while, in my experience). My room was wide and bright, including the toilet and shower. In fact, the entire hotel feels wide - the lobby, breakfast room, the carpark. The staff were all helpful, even with my poor Chinese and their limited English. The breakfast selection was fair, and everyone seemed to enjoy the food.

Great location and excellent service by the front desk lady and our rooms have been kept really clean everyday by housekeeping lady on 10th floor. Breakfast was ok, could be better if the cooked food was less oily and salty. Coffee machine at the restaurant didn’t work half of the time. Apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. One of the best we’ve stayed at this price range in China. Keep it up. Highly recommended.

When I first set foot in DAP Hostel in Turpan, it was with the intention of a two-night stay. Fast forward two weeks later, I was still there, completely captivated by its charm and the unforgettable people I met. Named after a traditional Xinjiang instrument, this hostel doesn’t just offer beds; it provides experiences. The design is impeccable, and it’s clear there’s a deep respect for detail and the environment. But the real magic? It’s in the people. The hostel owner, the volunteers, and every fellow traveler I encountered - they transformed my trip. From acquaintances to close friends in such a short span, it was incredible. Their open-mindedness, their stories, and the warmth they exuded were infectious. I’m thrilled to say that many of those I met at the DAP Hostel are now close friends. The anticipation of reuniting with them is immense. If you ever find yourself in Turpan, and you crave genuine connections, DAP Hostel is the place. It’s more than accommodation; it’s a family waiting to be discovered.

The worst hotel experience during the National Day trip to Xinjiang. I checked in on September 29th. The weather was very good that day. It felt hot outdoors in the afternoon. When I checked in at 4 o'clock, the temperature in the room was relatively high. The air conditioner was turned on and it didn't cool down. I called the front desk and asked about arrangements. Someone came to fix it (actually they didn't come), but they didn't tell the hotel that the air conditioner was no longer available. When I passed by the hotel lobby at night, I heard that many people in the tour group were complaining about the heat, so the hotel said that the air conditioner had been suspended and would be turned on again immediately. Then the room temperature became more comfortable after the air conditioning was restored on the first day. Early the next morning, I found that the air conditioner was no longer available. At 7 a.m., the indoor temperature was 34 degrees (as shown in the picture). I asked the front desk to tell them that the air conditioner had stopped again. Considering that the room would be hotter during the day and frequent communication would be troublesome, I chose to check out early. Change the room to a hotel. The price of the hotel I changed to was half that of Kas. It had 24-hour air conditioning and the room was very clean and quiet. In summary, Cass is not cost-effective. Turpan has a large temperature difference between day and night in September and October. Please be careful when choosing a hotel that does not provide air conditioning. However, I would like to commend the hotel front desk for its good service attitude. I am very satisfied with the consultation answers and early check-out handling. I would also like to give special praise to Ctrip. Assisted with early check-out and recommended new hotels to me. The service was timely and the attitude was good. I recommend Ctrip!

It feels like a hotel with Xinjiang characteristics. It’s so big. Even though it’s winter, the scenery is pretty good. I’ll come again in summer. I got a free tour of the wine cellar and a tour around the hotel. The room facilities are also very complete. It’s really This is the most satisfying hotel I have ever stayed in Xinjiang. Unfortunately, I can only stay for one night. There is an early morning call service. They prepared a car to help us take us to the airport. Special thanks to the beauties at the front desk. Easily one of the top two or three guesthouse experiences I’ve had traveling China over the past decade. While it’s certainly on the higher end of the price spectrum, you definitely get what you pay for and more. The level of detail is immaculate: given how hot and dry Turpan is, they give you as much bottled water you need & leave hydrating facial masks in your room every day. Also, shoutout to the beds—one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in China—and Japanese toilet. The facilitates and service touches are on par with the best luxury hotel brands which probably go for twice the price or more. But ultimately the people and location are what make this place special. Everyone from the owner to the cleaning staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I ran into the owner at a restaurant and he bought me dinner and introduced me to some local dishes I would have never known to order. The location is 🍇 valley. It’s a quaint little grape producing village with friendly locals and amazing fruit. All in all, Bafeng Retreat is a special place that is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and take life slowly. Highly recommended.

The hotel has airport pick-up and drop-off service, and the room service attitude is also good, but hygiene is a common problem in the whole city. The sand is a bit big, the overall service is still great, and the bedding is still very comfortable. Sleeping is quite comfortable.

This is a boutique B&B inn located outside Turpan Grape Valley. It enters the courtyard, but sees a large parking lot, which provides great convenience for self-driving guests, and you can wash your car in the yard. The two little girls at the front desk were polite and greeted us warmly, and also helped us carry our luggage to the third floor of the reservation. Entering the room, it is a kind of Xinjiang pastoral style, the balcony is very sweet grapes, don't look at the grapes are small, but each is very sweet, a big brother introduced that the grapes here do not add any pesticides, the seeds are Turpan selected. This big bed room satisfies our in-depth understanding of Xinjiang's ethnic customs, and the owner's layout of the room is also full of thought, even if it is a lamp and a cup. The bedding was clean and comfortable to sleep. Turpan was very hot during the day. At night, sitting in the room, opening the doors and windows slightly, and the cool breeze outside was so uncomfortable. The host’s food is delicious, but unfortunately because of my toothache, I can’t digest how much food. When I talk about it, I have to thank the beautiful girl in the Lekangning Pharmacy in Tashto Khan Village. Because the pharmacy did not open the door at that time, it was a rest time. Toothache is difficult to bear, according to the door to provide contact information docking the pharmacy owner, people quickly came to the pharmacy and gave me drugs, all of which moved me. We go to play in other places, not necessarily to see the most beautiful scenery, in fact, the most beautiful scenery, in you and I at any time of life. The mother of the owner of the small courtyard is also a favorite stone collector player. I have very little experience in stone, so I asked the old lady. She was very kind. Although we can stay for a day due to time, it gives me the feeling that they have no birth. I highly recommend that you stay at Turpanyu Courtyard!

Very clean. The oversized bubble room has a huge bubble pool. I observed it. You can't see the small courtyard room. The terrace room should not have such a big pool. A terrace was built in half. Breakfast was very good. Many categories. Both Chinese and Western breakfast are available. Quite complete. The service was excellent. The service staff are all beautiful and enthusiastic. All requests are answered. In line with hotel prices. The swimming pool in the courtyard is very clean. The bedding is comfortable and soft. There is a small shop and a cheap supermarket next to it. Swimming rings are on sale at reasonable prices. The only thing is the afternoon tea provided. The waiter in the cafe was indifferent and impatient. There are four hotels nearby. There are three e-sports hotels next to it. Both prices are mid-range. Everyone can use the outdoor swimming pool in the courtyard. Breakfast is the same. of a group. well done. Very satisfying experience. The children had great fun playing with water in the room. The grapes from the picking garden are delicious. The food at the restaurant where I had breakfast was good and not expensive. I also experienced it during travel photography. If you want to take pictures, make an appointment in advance for a cool time. I think it’s okay to rent clothes and take photos yourself. This piece is very beautiful and exciting.
