Amet Haveli

Saw this hotel when researching hotels in Udaipur, decided to book but at that time the only availability was 4 nights. Jumped at the chance to book but had to find another hotel for the rest of the stay, we then booked a four star hotel across the lake for the rest of the stay. Upon arriving we were blown away by the architecture and general ambience of this heritage Haveli, just an amazing place! I have no hesitation in recommending a stay here, so much so that we visited the second hotel and were very disappointed. In fact we were very lucky that Amet Haveli had a cancellation and we were able to stay the whole time with them even though that meant we lost our deposit on the second hotel. Our stay was superb from start to finish, the staff were always smiling and helpful I found all of them were special from the ladies that continually swept the paths to the housekeeping and restaurant staff. A very special shout out to the reception staff that we saw more of, the ladies Rubina, Melaka and the gentlemen Ankit, Bharat and Sher Singh, truly a remarkable team! I shall return in the not to distant future.

Our stay at amet haveli was very good we had reserved a suite room and that was beyond our expectations it has great view of lake pichola and you can see the city palace and Taj lake palace right through your window, the room was very cool and they had done a great wall painting in the bathroom. Everything was just perfect. The hotel, the food, the location and the staff. Miss Rubina has helped us so much in every aspects from planning the tour to where to shop and what might be our likes so, thank you so much. Also Mr. Ankit was so generous and professional. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful property on the lake with stunning views. Rooms were immaculate and the restaurant was delicious. We stayed in a Haveli room and a lake view room and both were fabulous. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner on the property and all were delicious. Highly recommend.

Very charming hotel in an old Haveli palace with all the luxury needed. Ask for the rooms around the pool (the newly redecorated ones) especially the suites with great views on the city palace, the Pichola Lake and the Lake Palace. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant Is delicious and offers a great setting in front of the lake. The small pool in very charming in a little garden. The rooms are comfortable, beautifully decorated and the bathrooms are in marble with a handmade painting of nature animals scene. We loved it and it was the perfect ro***tic rajasthani hotel to end our Indian trip.

Brilliant hotel with great views and friendly staff. Amazing restaurant right on the lake and real heritage beauty. Rubina the receptionist was incredibly polite and helpful. We would love to visit again next time we are in Udaipur as it’s a real oasis.

Just an idyllic setting with wonderful friendly and attentive staff. Fabulous room with views to die for and comfortable as any I’ve stayed in. Great restaurant on site which people were queuing for ages bit as a guest to get priority and the food is amazing! 12/10! Loved it

A fabulous hotel to stay in when visiting Udaipur. The view from the room when you opened the shutters was breathtaking. The rooms were sumptuous and extremely comfortable and dining on the terrace was an experience to remember. All the team were welcoming and accommodating Thank you

Nice hotel in a lovely location, spoilt by bad service. Our drinks order was forgotten about as was my husband's starter. Got the impression that most of the staff weren't really interested. We didn't receive a particularly warm welcome on our arrival, out of the 7 hotels we stayed in on our trip, this one had the worst service.

A really fabulous place to stay - location outstanding with great views and easy access into the heart of the old city; restaurant a genuine pleasure with a varied menu and a very skilful chef; room fabulous; staff warm and friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay better. We stayed 2 weeks and got to know the area and people quite well and were impressed with Amet Haveli from the moment we met the Reception staff (excellent people with positive attitudes, very helpful) throught to the cleanliness (excellent) and the restaurant (marvellous). Thanks to the staff and location and quality of this place we had one of our best holidays ever. Thank you.
