Hotel Raj Palace by Howard

We booked a Suite room for 3 people, for 3 days. Before our arrival, we received a WhatsApp text saying that we had to pay 40% of the bill by bank wire. However, in Booking wzs written that no pre-payment was needed. There are ***y frauds on Booking, so we didn't pay. And didn't understand at all why we were being ask to pay now, during our travel. When we arrived, we discovered that the room was made for 2 people only. The staff finally came with an extra bed, but forgot bedsheet and a pillow, then we had to call them again for one more bath towel (which arrived wet and we had to change it again), then again for a 3rd cup. Also, the room was really dirty. We called right away the housekeeping because we found dry food on the floor. Hair in the bathroom, bedsheet with stains and holes. We had to removed the 2 carpets has they were totally discusting! We noticed no hangers at all for our clothes in the closets, we had to ask them one more time to come again. All of this was tiring! During the 3 days, the wifi was not working at all and no solution was proposed, like sharing internet by cellphone. It worked again the last day evening, only. Because of that, we had to pay some more expensive restaurants than the street food, to have access to wifi. And that situation made everything complicated. To contact our driver, guide and get directions. We then ask the front desk for a citymap. But the guy was totally helpless. Je couldn't find one. In a hotel? Really?! At the checkout , we explained again that we were not happy at all with the service and the room. We received no excuses, no discount, nothing! Even to see a ***ager was impossible. We had to pay for something not correct. Not like the description in ***********. They even made us pay for our 3 teas. Seriously! Couldn't you at least offer them? It would have been the minimum! We had a bad time in this hotel and the staff is totally helpless and not friendly. I don't recom***d this place at all!!!

The hotel is in very poor conditions, bedsheets and pillows are visisbly dirty, hot water doesnt work, i was given a half empty bottle of water, noise can be hard from other rooms and from the street all night, breakfast has very few options and average at best, pool looks dirty, etc. Worst part is I was told I could do late check out for an additional fee just to find out they were charging me an extra night. Would not recommend

The accommodation and the service was too good . The staff members was very nice . The best part is the service that I like the most . This is the best place in udaipur to stay and to hangout. And everything is just near by . I stayed there for 3 days and i recommend everyone to visit this place . It will give you positive vibes and you will love to stay there .🫰

My stay at Hotel Raj Palace Howard in Udaipur was exceptional. The beautifull ambiance, attentive staff, and calm enviornment made my experience unforgettable. The cuisine is delicious and well-appointed rooms added to the charm, creating a perfect retreat in this beautiful city. Highly recommend for a lavish and serene getaway. Please vist this hotel and experience byself.

Rooms were not up to mark. An old AC was installed in the room for which I always had to ask the staff to start as the power connection was somewhere from the backend. No telephone in the room and I had to go downstairs to call them every time. Rooms are not spacious and you have plenty of good options available in other hotels in this price tag. The staff was so polite and tried to do all they could to please us. They did their job. However, the hotel needs to improve.

So I went Raj palace because of my office trip and I am amused by the hospitality of the hotel. It is not very big kind of palace of but it is very sufficient for our office trips and their personal extra guests too, it was well maintained by the ***ager he***t, mostly i liked the rooms and the swimming pool and courtyard area. It is located at good location, outer of this palace there are so ***y shops and places to visit like city palace, temple and museum too.

What made my stay even more memorable was the outstanding staff. From the moment I walked in, they were attentive, polite, and incredibly professional. However, I must give a special mention to the ***ager, Mr. He***t rathore. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was flawless. His willingness to go the extra mile and assist with any request truly impressed me. His commitment to exceptional service is commendable.

Staff is very nice , they are very cooperative and food and overall good experience e.g Pool room and AC all the thing is very nice , i suggest you can book this hotel , nice 👌 you can get every thing there

The location was perfect,Jagdish Temple,City Palace is at walkable distance,the palace hotel was clean n ***aged well,staff were courteous,housekeeping was done regularly,swimming pool was clean ,food was delious n fresh and can be customized accordingly,we stayed at the property for 4 days and we had a pleasant stay.
