We just spent a wonderful 6 nights at the Madri Haveli. The building renovation is sympathetic and stylish. Our room (301) was really spacious. The food in the rooftop restaurant was very tasty and there was a good choice of Indian and European breakfasts. The staff were really helpful, changing money, booking transport, etc. There's a small pool in the sister haveli around the corner, and a boules pitch and badminton court just next door. You're right in the heart of the old city and everything is walkable. We highly recommend.

We stayed 3 nights in this beautifully restored old city mansion/palace style hotel in the suite. The suite is stunning with the beautiful coloured windows enlightening the spacious lounge of the suite. The cosy bedroom is in a separate room as well as the spacious bathroom and everwhere you feel the great historic atmosphere of this building. Every evening we enjoyed the bar and the lounge seating on the rooftop terrace overlooking the White City the lake and the amazing sunset followed by a delicious local Indian dinner. The staff was always attentive and very helpful. The laundry service quick and professional. Full 5 stars for this amazing hotel that we will always remember.

We had a very good experience in this hotel as we were little late for the check out still they did not bother us while we were checking out from our room also food is excellent and staff Is very kind with us during the time of our stay. Courteous staff and maintenance. Devender ji at reception was very helpful and kind. Overall we had a pleasant stay at this heritage haveli.

This property gives you a true feel of a Heritage stay. This 300 years haveli is a budget heritage and best in terms of amenities it offers. The room service is also very prompt and professional. The rooftop restaurant offers a beautiful lake view.

Amazing property very clean and cozy rooms. Worth every penny. Just go for it. Staff were polite and considerate. Food was amazing at their roof top restaurant with bonfire.

Outstanding experience during my 4N stay. Currently staying at the hotel - The staff is very courteous and helpful. They're prompt to address any asks. - Room upkeep is great. Housekeeping works hard to maintain the restored Haveli. Cleanliness and hygiene is great. - The place has a great aesthetic. Lots of little details like stained glass windows, traditional artefacts, doors make the ambience great. - The restaurant upstairs has great views overlooking Udaipur and it's lakes. - The prime location puts it at a walking distance to many things in Udaipur. - For the price point, the service and room quality exceeds expectations. Would come back again. Cheers!

Nice room, well equiped, quite confortable. The only regret is that there is no window that could be opened to get fresh air. The Haveli is conveniently located at a walking distance to main interesting buildings to visit. The really valuable asset of this place is that all people working there are very nice, gentle and allways helpfull

Hotel is an old heritage haveli and renovation took +6 years. Rooms are spacious, clean, nice balance between old and modern furniture. Bed is comfortable, hot water availble and modern a/a. All hotel staff is very professional and nice. We meet the owner which happens to be a french entrepreneur that really cares about the business and wants customers to enjoy their stay at hotel. Although the restaurant doesn’t have many reviews, I’d definetely recommend it too. We had dinner one night and food was very tasty, fresh ingredients and safe. Probably best hotel in town and fair fares.

What an amazing suite ! Fridge tv superb Wi-Fi and so much space ! The staff here can’t do enough for you - they are a delight ! Nice restaurant on the roof where you can look out on the floating palace . Location wise it is fantastic with an easy walk to the palace , tourist market etc .

We loved our experience staying at the Madri Haveli. We got upgraded to the suite, room 302, which has a generous bathroom, bedroom and a beautiful colourfully lit reception area. The location is ideal for walking in the beautiful old town, explore the riverside cafes/ restaurants and city palace / tourist markets. Staff members were lovely throughout, and their smile goes a long way…breakfast and diner with a view on the roof terrace complemented the experience. GM Sunil was kind enough to share insights about the ＞300 yr old property, and showed us around his 2nd property (Madri Haveli Retreat), and even let us use the swimming pool for the afternoon to help us cool down from the afternoon heat. All in all a unique stay which we recommend to everyone visiting Udaipur…also consider to upgrade your room to the suite, you won’t regret it, it’s just mind blowing - especially the lighting. Thanks, we will be back…

What a fantastic hotel this was. Historic house that is 300 years old really well positioned in the old town. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing. We only had breakfasts at the hotel but they were excellent

Highly recommended staying in this 300year old Haveli which is beautifully renovated, providing one of the best stays in the heart of Udaipur. Close to everything yet so quiet and peaceful. The perfect place to rejuvenate after a day of sightseeing or travel. Beautiful clean rooms for a comfortable stay. The rooftop has amazing food and views over Udaipur & lake. The most professional and heartwarming staff I’ve experienced in India. A place not to be missed.

Excellent small hotel in the Old City in walking distance to many of the main sights, Hathipole market etc. Clean and cool. Friendly staff, very helpful when arranging airport transfers and providing advice and assistance more generally. Would stay again.

As you step into Madri Haveli, you are met with a warm professional welcome. This was shortly followed by being amazed at the design and decor inside. The Haveli has been beautifully restored, the quality is outstanding. The roof top has amazing views all around, the food was thoroughly enjoyed. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. We used their laundry service, which was excellent. The Haveli generously provided my husband with balloons, flowers and a delicious cake for his 70th birthday, he was totally surprised. We cannot recommend staying here enough. The manager Sunil is fully involved in the running of the Haveli and you can see how all the staff work closely together as a team. We had the opportunity of being shown around Madri Haveli Retreat, their brand new 4 star property which is absolutely breathtaking. We had a memorable stay, a big thank you to everyone at Madri Haveli.

The hotel is situate in the old city of Udaipur and is within walking distance of all the main historical sights. It is a renovated 300 year old "haveli" type hotel and is divided into two parts. The recently renovated newer part has a small swimming pool and breakfast area. The executive suite is large, with a bedroom, living area, massive bathroom and small balcony overlooking the pool. The bathroom was superb with a stone double sink, bath and separate walk in shower. Great attention has been paid to detail. The staff members went out of their way to make our stay memorable. They know the meaning of hospitality. The breakfast choices were excellent. The food was exclusively vegetarian and no alcohol is available in the hotel. Walking the narrow lanes of the old city in the vicinity of the hotel made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended. This one is comparable in amenities, location and service to the hotels that charge ten times more in Udaipur.
