Perchwood is a great option for those in transit to locations like the hills from Lucknow or elsewhere and it was frankly surprising to see such a well run hotel in a small town. I took ground floor rooms because my aunt has an issue with climbing steps - there is no lift. But please be warned the ground floor rooms offer no views at all and the window blinds opened to a kitchen in one room and a office in the other. But it wasn't a deal breaker at all. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable. The in house restaurant serves great food and is quite popular among locals. The decor at the hotel is great and there are ***y photo ops in the complex. There is ample and secure parking within the premises. The Nanak Matta Gurudwara is about 12 kms away on a good road and is a great place to visit if you are in the area.
