So firstly, having read the recent reviews with photos I was initially worried. However, for a 2 night stay it was fine. Positives: *The girl who greeted us and checked us in and out was friendly and helpful. *The room (22) had plenty of mirrors and the hairdryer was a proper one,. *The bedding and bathroom were clean *Breakfast, simple but with choices of eggs, yoghurt, cereal, toast and pastries. Coffee machine and juice machine. *pool *honesty bar. Negatives: *It's a bit tired and shabby in places. * The decor is quirky at best, my room was dark orange and black *The lighting is awful, my room felt like sleeping in a nightclub. The decor in room. 21 was brighter and felt more modern. *The black corridors down to the rooms!!! *Pool needs a stronger filter and the spaces around the pool need a tidy up. Our rooms looked like they had private areas but people kept sunbathing right outside my patio door! You wouldn't sit on someone's balcony so that needs clarifying. I couldn't open the curtains or door because people were right outside. Question. What is with the keys? Mine had a huge circle keyring far to big for pockets and handbags. I had to keep hiding it in my brother's room. Also the honesty bar could use dome zero sugar soft drinks. All in all, 3 stars for a three star hotel. This place could be beautiful with a little more tlc and a less quirky decor.
