Continental Hotel

The toilet seat is dirty with yellow color everyday even after daily cleaning. The hallway is dark.

Stayed here for three nights in late June and it was honestly awful. The only slight plus is the location near the CBD, but that’s where the good news stops. There was no hot water the entire time — not even lukewarm — and they still charged us over $100 a night like that was completely normal. Even worse, the staff were shockingly rude. The manager barked "not my job" and hung up on us when the car park gate wouldn’t open because their system was broken. The older male receptionist actually lashed out at our guide, who simply asked for help opening the gate. Our guide had to wreck his own tires just to get out. The hotel itself is tired and poorly managed. Breakfast was a joke — stale food, terrible coffee, and not worth touching. Only saving grace was the young female receptionist who was polite and tried to help, but that’s nowhere near enough to salvage the experience. Do yourself a favor: stay anywhere else. Plenty of hotels in the area that know how to treat guests like human beings.

There is no hot water in the shower. Sometimes the toilet doesn't flush. The staff are helpful.
