[Strong Warning to Travelers]
Do not stay at this hotel under any circumstances. Service, facilities, and staff behavior are all at the lowest level, making your stay miserable.
Nearby: Toyoko Inn (best service in this price range), Ochir Guest House (no breakfast included), Twin Horse Hotel (best budget choice for 1–2 nights). Choose these instead for a safe, comfortable stay.
<Cleaning>
- In two weeks, cleaning was forgotten five times. Excuses like “I was busy” are common—don’t believe them.
- Toilet paper often ran out; had to go to reception to get it.
- “New” towels were sometimes wet.
<Staff Attitudeyou>
-No English spoken; must go to reception in person to make requests.
- Requests/complaints ignored or met with laughter.
- During longer conversations, staff would suck candy or check Facebook.
- No apologies, no responsibility.
- Manager always absent; no way to talk to a supervisor.
<Rooms & Amenities>
- No phone in the room; must use your own to call (and they still don’t speak English).
- Shower temperature control broken—uncomfortable daily and dangerous in winter.
<Environment & Noise>
- Fri–Sun: loud dance hall music and vibrations until after 8 PM, audible even on the 4th floor.
- Karaoke on 2nd/3rd floors disturbs sleep.
- Washing machine on 5th floor runs at 1 AM—very loud.
<Breakfast>
- No chef; receptionist cooks—food is bad.
- Only fried egg, two sausages, small salad, two bread slices, instant coffee.
- No seasoning; terrible taste.
- 30+ minute waits common, as they serve only when all meals are ready—very inefficient.
<Overall Review>
Everything is sloppy, with zero professionalism.
Clearly run by rookie staff without a manager.
If you value comfort in Mongolia, avoid this hotel at all costs.
