Lovely, peaceful surroundings, enjoy wildlife- we saw monkeys, birds, an iguana and squirrels, in the lovely gardens. Rooms were spacious, clean and cool. We had dinner and breakfast on site and both were plentiful and yummy. The pool was lovely for a relaxing swim. Highly recommend.

Villa Gaetano is a villa with 11 rooms and spread over an expansive land. It's well maintained but what scores over everything else is the family that manages this - Gamini, his daughter Melani and her husband Chrishan, along with their cute tiny kids - Joshua and Heavenly! There comes a time when it's not about a property anymore - it's about the hospitality & warmth that one receives. Gamini and his family are not just an example but epitome of hospitality. The food we got served was excellent. We tasted authentic Lankan cuisine and on many occasions chatted with Gamini while having our food. It enriched us! We went as 3 families from India and came out learning so much about Lankan culture and way of life! Rooms are large & well appointed. Carry your own water to drink (maybe pick up a 5 liter keg from any supermarket) since almost every property that we stayed in Lanka for some reason was always short on water.

Gamini and his family created a very nice place to spend some days or longer in a quiet area outside of the touristic center of Unawatuna. Different kind of rooms, we had one of the smaller ones which was even big and also very clean and comfortable, with big bathroom. The big terrasse under a roof offers a sitting area, even on rainy days. Large beautyful garden with hammocks underneath the palmtrees and a clean pool. Wounderful nature around, sometimes you can watch monkeys in the trees, at sunsettime flying foxes can be seen in the sky. Big breakfast with coffee/tee, various kind of bread, rotis, pancake, eggs and fruits. Dinner can be ordered additionally. Tuk Tuk service to the beach road is included. Mr. Gamini is a very humorous communicative and helpful men. We enjoyed our stay!!

Hello, Stayed here with my girlfriend and my brother. 2 Double rooms in the new building, the place is amazing! really nice rooms. It´s a bit of walk so I would say you need your own bike to stay here. We travel a lot every year for 4-6 months. Breakfast was nice and the owner super friendly! we where riding our tuktuk there and they had parking and gate. The owner "father" of the family was super friendly! and got a really nice attitude! His daughter and husband are super friendly as well, they even gave us free ice creams. We will be back This is one of the best places we stayed at in Sri lanka, riding around in our own tuktuk. Кадры решают всё. Виллой управляет прекрасная семья, которая всегда готова решать ваши проблемы. Сами номера уютны и комфортны. Кухня чудесна. Бассейн и территория содержатся в порядке. Дивность в виде пальмовых белок присутствует. Видели варана, обезьян, павлинов. Все сделано с умом. Отношение цены и качества выше всяких похвал.

Une guesthouse particulièrement agréable. Le jardin est splendide,les chambres confortables. Les hôtes Mélanie son mari Christian et son papa se plieront en 4 pour vous faire plaisir. Havre de paix mais tout proche de Galle et Unawatuna en tuk tuk. Des hôtes d’une gentillesse infinie et d’une serviabilité toute aussi grande. Chambre climatisée, propre, moustiquaire. Une cuisine familiale délicieuse. Et tout ça pour un prix honnête ! Merci !!!!

Отдыхали вдвоём в мае 2022 г. Вилла очень понравилась. Все чисто, спокойно, добрые хозяева, которые рады во всем помочь. Есть место для йоги под крышей. Насекомых и диких животных нет. Есть только хозяйские собаки, птички и пальмовое белки. Один раз видели маленького варанчика. Есть пруд с рыбками. Бассейн с лежаками, место для парковки автомобиля. Заказали на ужин Креветки по цене было адекватно и очень вкусно.

Nous retiendrons de ce séjour la sympathie de Christian et Mélani qui ont tout fait pour que nous passions un séjour inoubliable. Nous avons séjourné dans la villa familiale et les chambres étaient très spacieuses. La piscine était propre et nous étions seuls. L’hôtel est excentré mais cela nous offre un calme et un dépaysement complet. Pour la location de notre scooter nous sommes directement passé par nos hôtes. Christian et Mélani nous ont offert les petits déjeuner. Tous les matins, le petit déjeuner était différent mais surtout très copieux, excellents et décorer dans pleins de fleurs. Pour le nouvel an bouddhiste, nos charmants hôtes nous ont préparés un délicieux repas traditionnel que nous avons pu partager ensemble. Le charme de cet hôtel est différent des autres que nous avons pu faire. Nous nous sommes sentis vraiment bien et l’hospitalité de Christian et Mélani nous a fait chaud au cœur. Encore merci !
