Thaproban Beach House Reviews

This hotel is right on the beach. We ate in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The dinner was served on a table on the beach. For dinner there are a lot of fresh seafood and fish options. The breakfast was local food like fruit, bread, jam and curry. I really liked it. Nice clean room with a mosquito net.

The room I was originally given was close to the street and was very noisy. Later, I was given a room close to the sea, and the beach was right outside the door🏖. Of course, I only stayed for two nights and left early. The room was large and nice, with sufficient air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The only problem was that the hot water was not hot enough for this generation of hotels. It was probably warm water. I hoped I wouldn't catch a cold after taking a shower. I was quite happy staying there.

The staff's service attitude is very good 👍, very friendly. Breakfast is as shown in the picture, English and Sri Lankan omelettes are available! The location is by the sea, and the restaurant is right on the sea. Very satisfied!

Best hotel so far in Sri Lanka. Location was amazing! Room was good, foot is so so, but better order in hotel cuz outside restaurants r not that good and more expensive. I liked the beach u can spend all day 🎈

I am really close to change. This is my dream room. Five days is not enough. I can go downstairs and play in the sea, or lie on the beach and sunbathe. I feel so happy just thinking about it.

My review, of course, will not be about this hotel, but about the hotel of this chain, Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa. We booked a room at the Thaproban Beach House Hotel, when we came to check in, it turned out that our reservation at this place was missing, and we had a reservation at the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa. Thanks to the Trip.com team for helping us understand and resolve issues. And the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa turned out to be much better than the Thaproban Beach House. True, it is not on the beach, but the beach is 5-7 minutes away. The hotel is super, all the amenities, large rooms overlooking the ocean. Very tasty breakfasts, 2 swimming pools on site, one with salt water. In general, I highly recommend the hotel. We really liked it. And we never regretted that we moved into it.

It's right on the beach, very convenient, the room is clean, but the price is inflated. It's more reasonable to sell it for more than 300

We had a fantastic stay at Thaproban Beach House. The staff are all brilliant and all went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and were incredibly warm and friendly - they were particularly great with our two children. We stayed in one of the penthouse rooms which had beautiful views and a large balcony to relax on. The location is perfect and the hotel exits straight onto the beach. Lots to do locally and we were also able to use the pool at Waves, their sister hotel, which is a five minute walk away when we felt like a break from the sea. The restaurant is also excellent, with delicious seafood and wood-oven pizzas. The music from the neighbouring bars can be a bit loud at night but earplugs and the sound of the waves meant we slept very well. We would definitely recommend staying here. Perfect for families and those traveling without children. We’d love to come back!

Beautiful place with a good vibe. Overall there customer service good specially captain idunil. But little disappointed with the breakfast we ordered omelet but they came up with European omelet. When I ask they said we didn’t inform, it’s there duty to ask which style we want. I don’t like that little argument. Because of that incident I cannot give 4 star otherwise I’m able to give.

We had a woundeful time at Thaproban beach house. The room was cosy and clean and the beach is just two steps from the bar. The staff were very nice and proffessional - espessialy Indu that made our stay extraordionally. We really recommend you to stay in this hotel.

The service provided by Captain Indunil was exceptional! From helping us choose the perfect dishes to his overall attentiveness, everything was top-notch. His thoughtful guidance in recommending just the right amount of delicious dishes saved us from overspending, making our experience both enjoyable and cost-effective. Thanks to his outstanding service, our visit was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. Along with the fantastic ambiance, his excellent qualities are definitely a reason for customers to keep coming back!

The Captain Indunil was exceptionally friendly and provided great assistance in selecting dishes. He guided us to make appropriate and balanced choices, preventing us from over-ordering. Notably, as the only Sri Lankan guests, we received the same high level of service as foreign customers. We truly appreciate his dedication and commitment to delivering excellent service.

The service at THAPROBAN is top notch. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Special mention to Kevin who made sure that our stay and dinner was as comfortable as possible. He not only helped us pick the most fresh seafood but also offered us towels to soothe our 6 month old kid. The rooms are also very neat and clean and spacious. Overall great vibe to the place which is right next to the beach.

We visited this place by short notice. The staff were really amazing and suggested for more delicious dishes. The Grilled Lemon Garlic Red Snapper dish is very flavorful and delicious. The prices are reasonable. Highly recommend and definitely we are going to visit this place again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
