The hotel has a great location, right near the bus station and the entrance to the Hell attraction. It's about a 10-minute walk to the town's main commercial area. The hotel offers bed-making service while guests are out for dinner. The room I booked had a private onsen (hot spring bath), which was very convenient. The onsen here is authentic, with a strong sulfur smell, and leaves your skin smooth after soaking. Highly recommended.
The location is excellent, and you can walk to Unzen Jigokudani in a few minutes. The springs are acidic, simple sulfur springs, and sulfate springs. They have the effect of relieving fatigue and beautifying the skin! You can also pray at the hot spring shrine and Manmyoji Temple, which is very relaxing!
I stayed here for my birthday trip.
Right from the moment I was greeted, I was very welcomed and felt at ease.
The hot spring was very pleasant, and the amenities were of good taste. The building and rooms were well-cleaned, and it was clear that they had put a lot of thought into it. Dinner and breakfast were also surprisingly delicious, exceeding my expectations!
They had prepared a cake for me as a surprise in advance, and their service was wonderful. The next day, when I asked if I could take home the cake I wasn't able to eat, they thoughtfully made a container for me to take it home in, and packed it up beautifully with ice packs. I was able to take it home safely.
Their thoughtful service was very soothing, and I was able to spend a wonderful time.
Thank you so much!
The inn is located right next to "Unzen Jigoku" and the hot spring water is directly sourced, so the water is very good and I was very satisfied.
The food was also rich in locally produced ingredients, and listening to the stories of the staff was very educational.
Unzen indeed exceeded expectations. You can see the Milky Way at night. The stars are just as the songs say. Blink. In the whole of Unzen, this hotel is relatively new and has a high price-performance ratio. The bus stop is right at the door.
Это первый опыт проживания в отеле такого формата. Онсен и кайсеки лучше всяких похвал. Ужин и завтрак интересно оформлены, продукты отличного качества. Спасибо!

Very good

The room was spacious and very clean, likely because it had just been renovated. Dinner was served in a private room and featured a variety of delicious local dishes. We also booked a night tour, and the guide's explanations were very interesting. Unzen's hot springs are not dug, and we learned that the location of the hot springs is constantly changing. Both of the large public baths were great, but the open-air bath at Kosensho had a lot of floating leaves, and there was no scoop to use. There were also quite a few leaves in the water, which clung to my feet, which was a bit unpleasant. The breakfast set meal was delicious, and I ate too much. Thank you for arranging dinner earlier than planned and for the front desk's accommodating service.
