Unzen Fukudaya

I originally wanted to book Yunxianjie, but it happened that there was no room on that day, so I chose this Futian House. Since there are no comments, I am a little nervous, but I am very satisfied after checking in. I thought it would be very inconvenient to travel around Yunxian by public transportation. In fact, the bus station is at the entrance of the hotel, so it’s very convenient~ The hotel is a traditional Japanese-style hot spring hotel, but the decoration of the rooms is a combination of Japanese and Western, very modern. The structure of the hotel is a bit complicated, with a main building and an annex. When checking in, the route will be introduced in detail, as well as the different locations for bathing every day. Hot spring hotel, the main thing is to soak in hot springs. There are 4 hot springs in total, 2 indoors and 2 outdoors. Male and female are switched every day. The indoors and the outdoors are separated, which is a bit inconvenient. There are few people, and it feels great to be able to enjoy the hot springs alone. One stay and two meals, dinner and breakfast the next day are in the same private room, both are very rich.

It was my first trip to Unzen Onsen, where I combined hot springs and hiking, and not only was the hot spring amazing, but the food was also great. I had my meal in a private room, but it was a large portion, so I had to eat less rice, but I still felt full. The room was also clean. There was a wood stove in the lobby, and it was lit since it was cold in the morning on the day we left. I think it would be a good idea to visit again in the winter. Also, because it was the off-season after the fall foliage season, it wasn't crowded, which made me want to come again.

It was a normal hot spring inn. When you arrive, there is no parking lot at the entrance, so you have to park your car in the parking lot behind the hotel and head to the hotel with your luggage. Check-in was a bit disappointing, as you were asked for your name twice. Also, you can take the necessary room amenities from the front desk and go to your room, making it feel like a business hotel. The room was renovated so that it felt like two rooms were combined into one, and the unit bath from the previous room was still there, so there were two unit baths in the room. The wash basin was a unit bath, so it felt like I was staying at a business hotel even though I was at a hot spring inn. By the way, the room had been renovated with hardwood floors, but there were no slippers in the room. The room had a large TV in the living room and one in the bedroom, an illy espresso machine that was difficult to use but stylish, and plenty of outlets. There was an open-air bath and an indoor bath for men and women, as well as several private baths. One of the open-air baths has a changing room next to the bath, and there is no sink or hair dryer, so be careful not to catch a cold in the fall and winter. To put it simply, it's an open-air bath full of fielders. It was nice to have a sauna, although not all of it, and it was also nice to be able to use the sauna in the morning. It is a small hot spring with only enough washing area for 3-4 people. We had the food at the restaurant. The restaurant seems to vary depending on the content of the food. Meals are served in a private room surrounded by walls, where you can hear the voices of your neighbors. The food was delicious and I felt that no corners were cut. When the sukiyaki-style hotpot came out and I opened the lid, my wife's hotpot had mizuna in it, and mine had chives in it. I don't know if I ran out of material or if I made a mistake.

I had originally reserved a room without an open-air bath. However, due to construction work at the time, the room would be noisy, so we decided to stay in a room with an open-air bath at the same price. Since it had an open-air bath, my sons had a great time taking a bath, and my husband was also happy that his body was warm and his headache was relieved. The food was very delicious and the whole family was very satisfied. The front desk, restaurant, cleaning staff...everyone was very nice and nice. We will be using it for day trips and family sleepovers in the near future.

Billiards was fun. My husband and I confronted each other and bought it. There were also board games and badminton available for rent, so I thought kids would enjoy it too. It was my first time visiting a souvenir shop, where there was an exhibit about the history of Unzen Onsen, but it was also nice. I was happy that there was an orange drink waiting for me after I got out of the indoor bath. The Nepalese people who were eating there were working hard. When I brought the mirinboshi in the morning, the table was full of dishes, so they placed the mirinboshi in the gap, but I placed the fish vertically instead of horizontally. Very unfortunate! No matter how crowded the table is, place the fish horizontally, even on the edge of the table. But working in a foreign country is amazing. do your best.

I used it for the first time. The food was also delicious and made with local ingredients. However, I was disappointed that the rice was hard. 　

When I arrived, I felt nervous when I saw the appearance of the hotel, and when I told them it was a day off from relaxation, I asked them to guide me to other relaxation options, but they didn't seem to want to ask, and the woman and young man at the reception were tired. Ta. It can't be helped that it's a day off, but it wasn't listed on the website (even if it was, it's hard to understand), so I would have liked a more thorough explanation and follow-up. I had told them that I was going on my silver wedding anniversary, but I was disappointed that the room I had booked was of a low grade and I couldn't take it into consideration, as I ended up staying in a room in front of the elevator. Also, the room felt dated. The main lobby had a really nice atmosphere. The bath in the main building was cooler and calmer than the open-air bath in the new building. However, the open-air bath in the new building had a great view of the stars. The food was just as I expected (shottsuru hotpot with Kanpyo soup stock was my first time tasting it, and it was worth the trip. The menu included local ingredients and how to eat it), and I took a commemorative photo. The service was great and I was happy with the celebratory plates. (It was time for fireworks, so I was concerned that the photos on my desk were left unorganized.)
