Urayasu Brighton Hotel Tokyo Bay

I chose this hotel for my two-day trip to Tokyo Disney. The hotel and rooms are spacious, and it's very convenient to get to Disney with their shuttle bus service. It's also just a 2-minute walk from Shin-Urayasu Station.

Many people have already reviewed this hotel, noting its spacious rooms and very close proximity to the station, along with a shuttle service to Disneyland. Now, let me share some drawbacks that weren't frequently mentioned in earlier reviews: 1. The hotel is quite old, with a somewhat Showa-era style. While it's a Japanese hotel, I was surprised by the lack of many facilities. Having stayed in numerous Japanese hotels, I've come to expect ice machines, microwaves, and laundromats in Japanese-managed properties – these were completely missing here. (I had initially deliberated between this hotel and the Hilton, but chose Brighton thinking the Hilton, being internationally managed, wouldn't have these facilities, only to find Brighton didn't either.) 2. There's no bottled water in the room, let alone the 'free mini-bar' mentioned in some reviews. It's even hard to get drinking water here; you have to go to a water dispenser by the elevator. Although they provide a kettle for refilling, honestly, I wasn't too keen on using it. Aside from these points, the nearby commercial area is quite convenient, with delicious and affordable gyutan (beef tongue) rice, a supermarket, 100-yen shops, and some Japanese clothing stores. If the hotel were to add the facilities mentioned above, the stay experience would be significantly improved.

This hotel isn't far from Tokyo Disneyland and offers a shuttle bus, making it great value for money compared to other options. We visited both Disney parks over two days and were able to go back to the hotel to rest in between. The triple room we booked was very comfortable, with individual beds for each person and enough space to open our suitcases, which is quite large for Japan where space is at a premium. There are supermarkets and drugstores nearby, and plenty of dining options. Plus, there's a water dispenser right by the elevator, so you don't need to buy bottled water.

The location is fantastic, right outside a subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient. I'd give it five stars just for that. There's also an Aeon mall nearby, which is very affordable. Disney is just one subway stop away, and the hotel even offers a shuttle service.

The room and bathroom were both huge! Super clean! It's also really close to the JR line, with a direct skybridge. There's a shopping mall right across the street, so dining options are plentiful! Absolutely recommend this hotel!
