After getting off the plane, I went directly to bus stop 5 to buy a ticket for Tokyo Disneyland. There were machines outside for direct ticket purchases, and this bus dropped me off right at the hotel entrance, which was super convenient! However, the next day when I went to Disneyland, I realized that the Hilton was the closest, and I regretted not booking it! It was even cheaper than this hotel! To get to Disneyland from this hotel, you have to take the shuttle bus from the hotel entrance to the subway station, then take one more subway stop to reach DisneySea. It's just not particularly convenient. Also, the hotel doesn't include a buffet breakfast. You have to reserve and pay for it yourself to eat in the lobby. Of course, I understand why, as many people probably head to Disneyland early in the morning, but the restaurants downstairs are all quite expensive, and even the convenience store is a bit pricier than a regular 7-Eleven or Family Mart. Overall, the hotel was decent, nothing special.

Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama is an excellent choice for families! It’s conveniently located near Bayside Station—just a quick 5-minute walk. We even had a view of the fireworks right from our room. I booked a room with lounge access, and it was definitely worth it. The light tea session offered simple yet satisfying food that could easily serve as dinner. We also returned in the evening for drinks and snacks. The snack station didn’t have many options, but everything was delicious. Out of the four places we stayed during our trip, this was my children’s favourite. While waiting for your room, you can even let your kids relax at the Rainbow Lounge, where they can watch Disney movies. Highly recommended for families visiting Tokyo Disney!

The hotel lobby is beautiful, but the rooms are a bit older, especially the bathroom, though it's still acceptable. The hotel's shuttle bus doesn't go directly to Disneyland; it goes to Maihama Station. From there, you'll need to take one stop on the Disney Resort Line or walk.

The hotel is close to the Disney resort. And it is not expensive like Disney hotels. But that means you won't have the happy hour when you can enter the park 1 hour before it opens for everyone. If you forgot to buy something at the resort, the hotel has a Disney shop. There are shuttle busses that you can use to get to the train stations for free. After the resort closes, you can return to the hotel from the Maihama station. This is convenient, but you may need to wait the bus. Also there is a bus that goes straight to the airport. The room is pleasant and comfortable, the colors are warm and relaxing. There is everything you may need. The internet has a high upload speed, so the pictures and videos will upload really fast! The staff is friendly and ready to help. There are many services you can use. And there are 2 restaurants that are open late (until 22:30 or so). I really have to commend this hotel! I arrived by bus from Narita Airport and accidentally left my Pocket 3 on the bus. I called the airport's service hotline, but the person with the Indian accent said they couldn't help and advised me to email lost and found. Later, I thought I'd try explaining the situation to the hotel's front desk. To my surprise, they helped me find it the next day and even arranged for me to pick it up, saving me from a huge loss. I stayed for two days and tried both the Western and Japanese breakfasts. For the American breakfast, you need to get up at 6 AM to get a number and there's usually a short queue. The Japanese breakfast, on the other hand, doesn't require queuing if you go after 7 AM, which is quite convenient. The hotel has a convenience store and a Disney store. There's also a Lawson at the adjacent hotel, less than a five-minute walk away. The subway station is just around the corner. I highly recommend this place!
