I loved our stay! Ladies that run the ryokan are the most beautiful souls! They will look after you and make sure you feel well.
You need to take into consideration it’s an older kind of ryokan, has nothing to do with modern places but it’s spacious, it’s in the nature, it’s perfectly clean and has great onsen after which you’ll feel super rested. The dinner is quite expensive but totally worth it! We had amazing experience! Breakfast is a feast! Everything was so lovely. I hope I will be able to go back.

Seriously, the best food we have had at an onsen on this trip. Very traditional, beautifully prepared and just delicious. Location is beautiful. Attentive staff. Excellent tea and they serve water from their own spring! The hot spring pool opens up to an outdoor pool, which is lovely. The little gift shop has small gifts which are perfect for souvenirs for friends.
