I visit Cappadocia (solo) in June to celebrate my birthday. My hotel stay was amazingly amazing. The interiors of the hotel is so phenomenal and the breakfast gave me a feeling of a proper traditional home cooked Turkish breakfast. My friend called the hotel and informed them that it’s my birthday and requested to arrange a cake. The staff did the needful and made sure that I have a good birthday celebration. They assisted me with my all my needs and directions to nearby places during my stay. Overall my stay was satisfactory!

Hotel looks gorgeous from outside. Scenic hotel with exclusive rooms. Unfortunately, when things go wrong, it’s very wrong. Firstly, I could not get into the room, key was faulty, complained 4 times and went down to the reception too. At last got into the room but I had to climb a flights of stairs for 4 rounds just to get this fixed! Second day of staying, nobody came to clean the room, met the housekeeping and they say will come as soon as possible and guess what, nobody came as well. Their staff barely understand English and we have to use translator. Breakfast and dinner has very limited choice, as I remember it’s only around 5-6 hot dishes which are cold. My room was just a normal room, not much like a cave hotel but other rooms were really nice. Probably not too 5 star stay with 5 star views.

The cleaning and the comfort of beds are very good I'm not having to take my nephremidis team everywhere for the first time. I didn't need it. It was also good breakfast. We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a group tour of Cappadocia region. There were 16 vegetarians including 2 vegans and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we were catered for. They would inform us in the morning of the main vegetarian meal. Unlike other hotels where they are catering for hundreds of guests, our group of 38 were very well looked after. With such small numbers, the choice of food is not as varied but there was plenty of food and staff would immediately refill any items. The rooms, arranged like lodges, were clean and spacious and the peaceful surroundings made this hotel very special. All the staff were extremely helpful and were always smiling. Well done. 👏👏👏

I stayed at this hotel while participating in the Cappadocia Ultra race. I also lived in Goreme and therefore I have something to compare it with A huge plus is the expanses around (keep in mind that hotels in Goreme have very dense buildings to each other!) Not so many tourists, and spacious atmospheric streets with wonderful restaurants and cafes.Only 5 km to the center of Urgup. The hotel is located on a mountain with a picturesque view! Wonderful atmosphere, and rooms in the rock. There is heating and a hot shower! After the race, he was very useful to me) The hotel owner is a very polite and caring person. Speaks good English. There is a chance that next year I will choose the same hotel)
