I really nice surprise. This modern clean, spacious hotel is an excellent stop. Close to the motorway network, friendly staff, Absolut brilliant in every way. The hotel is rather remote but there are a couple of very good restaurants in walking distance. The rooms are spacious brilliant. The car park is locked overnight, and the amble parking spaces are close to the entrance. This hotel is fantastic for disabled people. I simply cannot flaw this hotel.

We have been in Helianthal for several years, and we have been in Helianthal for a few days. We have never been disappointed! Since the renovation of the building, we have been completely conquered by the quality of the facilities. Very convenient very well located to visit Biarritz la cote basque and Capbreton Hossegor very quite even close to the airport i suggest to try the restaurant the carte and wines are very good you don’t wait for a table or to be served ... it was perfect

We had three nights in one of their large rooms on the top floor with a nice view over rooftops to the bay. The hotel is in a good location for St Jean de Luz. The car parking as others have reported is very tight. I was glad I wasn’t parking the car. The room was spacious but for price we paid was slightly disappointing. For example when I used the lovely free standing bath I had to rinse dust out before I could run the bath. There was dust to the side of the bed. Water is only provided on night one. Breakfast was fine. When we tried to use the spa (we had not been given any information about this) we found the sauna wasn’t working. The pool was on the cool side so we didn’t get to use these facilities. The lift broke twice during our stay including on the morning of our departure. So we had to carry all luggage from the top floor. I’m contrasting this hotel with the other two four star hotels we stayed in for a similar price during this stay in France. Elsewhere we received warm welcomes. For example we were taken to their spa and shown how to use the facilities and we were asked if they could help with restaurants and local places of interest. The service here amounted to giving us our room key, the car park pass and asking if we wanted breakfast. That’s ok however at our other hotels the service it was excellent and I was disappointed with the reception and welcome here. The receptionist on duty as we left did provide us with take away coffees which was a lovely unexpected touch and was welcome.

Very good location, room had everything I needed for a short stay. I wish the best for the grumpy lady who was running the check in. Your attitude is an optional choice no matter the life circumstance xx

bien pour la chambre confort avec balcon, moins bien pour la 1/2 pension selon vous, le menu est à 22 € ?; Vérifiable sur le site de réservation, la différence entre le prix de la chambre avec petit dej et la demi pension fait le diner à 33 €. de la lecture du menu au contenu de l'assiette il y a un écart non négligeable; quant aux produits locaux , je n'ai pas vu en 8 jours le moindre morceau de jambon de Bayonne mais de la viande dont on ne connait pas l'origine, du filet de maquereau avec du chou fleur et en dessert une demi poire cuite avec un coulis de chocolat. ça vaut effectivement 22 € mais pas plus. bien pour l'emplacement, la chambre confort avec balcon, moins bien pour la 1/2 pension
