We stayed here with our tour group, but it was one of my favorite hotels in Peru. The common areas were attractive and the layout of the hotels around little courtyards was really nice. The view of the mountains from our room were gorgeous. The rooms were comfortable. I do agree with a former review that addional lighting in the walkways would be helpful at night. The breakfast was great , Nelly Is a magnificent stewardess, and I loved the easy available of coca tea.

Just I want to share my experience with all of you, I used the San Agustin Hotel in Urubamba town which is located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas (cusco), me and my family dont have words to explain the accomodation in this hotel, Magaly is a very suite recepcionista and very helpful, the rooms were so confortable, very clean, breakfast not words say too, a lot of food, fresh juices and good service, the landscape was nice they have a nice patio to relax and take sun. I give 5 stars for this hotel because my family and I will never forget about this experience.

This is a cute hotel with beautiful grounds. It is very family friendly. My kids love the pool, yard games and breakfast buffet. Rooms are comfortable and location is close to town. You can walk or take a moto taxi. Thalia provided great service - thank you!!

This is a lovely old hotel and the grounds are very pretty. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast provided was average with a good selection. My only complaint is that you can hear everything going in around your room and especially your neighbor. It’s a little noisy but a nice stay.

Nice and relaxing hideaway Nice premises with a very nice and beautiful layout of the hotel. The garden is beautiful and all rooms are located around a very nice patio. The pool looks very nice but was not clean in December which was out of season around the pool. It would be nice to have more sunbeds and chairs as well as umbrellas I generally it’s location with a very nice view to the mountains, including a very nice lobby, bar and restaurant which was a quite empty because it was off season.

I came here with a group. The room I had was big. Wifi worked well in the room. Breakfast was good. Since the restaurants and food places are far from the hotel, I had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant but their dinner food was not good (unlike their breakfast).

At the start everything looked good. Nice garden, a cocktail. As we were tired, we decided to stay for dinner at the hotel. Pasta ( 2 sorts), 1 soaking in water, the other beef without sauce, alpaca steak like rubber and a burger which was ok But then, we discovered 2 cards with 2 different prices + 10%. Water fot brushing teeth not available unless you pay. It is a tourist trap!

Initially the hotel seemed fine upon our arrival, receptionist lady was nice and spoke decent English. Room was good, except for the fact that the window (that was 10 cm from one of the beds) had 1-2 cm gap when closed. Temperature-wise this was not an issue, but all sounds from outside (note that the hotel is situated right next to the main street of the town where all vehicles pass) were pretty well heard. Now, the part why I give 2 stars and would never visit this chain. We had scheduled pick up for Machu Picchu for 05:25 and the hotel's breakfast is between 5 and 9 am which was perfect (of course, this schedule is made because many people got very early pick up). At 05:05 am we go to the restaurant for quick breakfast before being picked up. First, no one at the reception to ckech out - anyway, we decided to leave the keys after having breakfast. We go to the restaurant - everything is dark, no lights on, some food placed on a table (no cooked food, water, bread and many other things). I went back to the reception - still no one. There were some voices coming from the kitchen and I went there to ask what is going on. Some guy started to talk in Spanish and I said I do not speak Spanish, asking to switch to English... Spanish continues... tried to ask about what is going on with the breakfast as we are running out of time... more Spanish. Again to the reception - finally, a guy shows and ask him about the breakfast. Guess what - "No English", and by this I mean he literally couldn't say "Hello" same as the other guy from the kitchen. After more "lost in translation" time wasted my wife just got few sips of coffee, I managed to take a few slices of cheese and threw the keys to the reception. Before being picked up, the reception lady from last night showed and gave us two bottles of water, I assume as an excuse for the lack of breakfast and the extremely poor service. Yeah, the bottles of water solves everything.... Worst hotel experience in my life and in Peru particularly. And this is a hotel that accommodates international tourists.. Never again. Told to our tour agent that they should not work with this chain.

You pay what you get for i guess. I booked 2 rooms. One we found roaches, another, bathroom sink was clogged. But the whole resort is nice
