The room was spacious and they accommodated me and my partner really well. We had to leave earlier for our flight and they got breakfast for us earlier than they usually do which we really appreciated. We enjoyed our stay there especially for the price. The area is full of restaurants and the view is amazing. The only issue is the location if you are there to visit all of Istanbul it’s very hard to transport around as it’s very far but if you’re there to visit uskudar for a couple of days it’s a perfect place.

Masa/sofra düzeni ve servis hatasız ve tam istediğimiz gibi olmuştu. Uygun personeli seçen otel yönetimine teşekkür ediyoruz. YEMEK: Ana yemeğimiz somon ızgaraydı ve son derece kıvamında pişmişti. Balık ızgara yapmakta ne var diye düşünenler olabilir, ama balığı çiğ bırakmadan, bunu yaparken de kurutmadan ızgara yapabilmek hüner ister. Her tabak aynı lezzette ve özende pişmişti. Aşçıyı tebrik ediyoruz. İŞLETME TAAHHÜTLERİ: Yemeğimiz ile ilgilieleştirebileceğim tek bir konu oldu. Rezervasyonumuzu yaparken herşeyi YAZILI olarak talep ettik ve YAZILI olarak bunların teyidini aldık. Yazılı olan anlaşmada grubumuzun önüne manzarayı kesecek herhangi bir müşteri alınmaması bizim için bir koşuldu. Otelin becerikli ve çalışkan banket müdürü TANRİS ERKUL bunu arı gibi çalışarak ve tatlılıkla kimseyi üzmeden çözdü. Kokteyl amsalarını önümüzü kesmekeyk şekilde konumlandırdı. ODALAR: Oteli gezmeye gittiğimde odaları da gezdim (ama konaklamadım). Hepsinden aynı muhteşemlikte kesintisiz manzara var. Köşe odalar iki cepheden de manzaraya hakim. Odaların dekorasyonu zevkli ama uygulama çok özenli değil. Malzeme kalitesi orta karar. Burada fiyat kalite dengesini de dikkate almak gerekiyor, fiyatına göre uygun. GENEL: Otel herşeyi ile bir “winner”. PROFESYONEL ÖNERİ: Her türlü rezervasyon ve angajmanı yazılı olarak, son derece açık, detaylı ve net şekilde yapmaları. We spent 2 nights in this hotel,location was great ,just 5 minutes walking to subway and taksim square.(except the sloping alley which could be a problem in snowy days.) Room was spacious and quiet with clean beds. Bathroom was old ,needed to be renewed. Staff were very helpful and polite. Overall it was value for money.

I made a reservation for Stay Inn Taksim Hostel via Agoda.com website for 3-6 February.Due to special reasons, I could not enter the hostel on February 3, and in this case, I contacted the hostel officer and informed him that he would check in on February 4.Despite this, my reservation was canceled by the hostel just because I did not log in and the hostel officer said that if I make a new reservation with a higher price, I will only be able to stay at the hostel that way. What kind of customer satisfaction is it that I can't use a service that I have paid for in advance and that a higher fee is demanded again? So I had to stay in another hotel.If you don’t want to happen this to you never choose Stay Inn Taksim Hostel and should definitely stay away! Agoda.com internet sitesi üzerinden Stay Inn Taksim Hostel adlı hostele 3-6 Şubat tarihleri için kredi kartı ile peşin ödeyerek rezervasyon yaptım. Özel sebeplerden dolayı 3 Şubatta hostele giriş yapamadım ve bu durumu hostel görevlisi ile görüşerek 4 Şubatta giriş yapacağımı ilettim ve görevli tarafından hostele giriş bilgileri tarafıma iletildi. Fakat buna rağmen 4 Şubatta hostele gittiğimde otele giriş yapmadığım için hostel tarafından rezervasyonumun iptal edildiğini, konaklama ücretinin iade edemeyeceklerini ve yeniden daha yüksek ücretle rezervasyon yapılırsa ancak o şekilde konaklayabileceğim söylendi. Ücretini peşin olarak ödediğim bir hizmetten ertesi gün geleceğimi bildirdiğim halde faydalanamayıp bir de üstüne tekrar daha yüksek ücret talep edilmesi nasıl bir müşteri memnuniyetidir? Şehir dışından geldiğim için de başka otelde konaklamak durumunda kaldım. Bir an önce konaklamadığım halde onayım alınmadan hostel tarafından tek taraflı olarak iptal edilen rezervasyon ücretinin iade edilmesini ve oluşan mağduriyetin giderilmesini istiyorum. Bir daha asla Stay Inn Taksim Hostel'i tercih etmem ve kesinlikle uzak durulmalı!

My wife and I enjoyed our week-long stay in the Soul Hotel in Istanbul in January 2023. We found a “home” there and got treated like “VIPs”. (I’m confident that EVERY Soul Hotel guest likely receives VIP TREATMENT, though.) Normally, I would not post a review because leaving a SUPER review has the potential to make it harder for me to find availability for my own stay. However, I see that recently there was posted a crazy review. People need to know that that review is baloney, and I don't believe one single word of it, and neither should you! I’m American and have stayed in hotels throughout the world, so I am quite experienced to say that there is a combination of factors that makes the Soul hotel one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere. The soul hotel is IMMACULATE. Not only is it clean, but it is also SAFE; the temperature controls in the room ALL work perfectly; the water pressure is SUPER; it is QUIET; the sheets and towels are new and high quality; it has a TERRIFIC breakfast; it’s a beautifully designed hotel with a lovely combination of antique and modern (see the photos)—BUT… incredibly----these are not even the best feature. THE BEST feature of the hotel is: its STAFF. They are ALL GOOD PEOPLE. The staff members really CARE about guests. They ALL speak English quite well and most speak other languages, too! They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and helpful. When you combine all these elements together, it makes for a truly memorable experience that is even reasonably priced(!) On top of the pricing, the design, the excellent staff, the great food and immaculate cleanliness, THEN there's the LOCATION. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the most charming part of Istanbul. There are antique shops and art galleries and coffee houses all around, and it’s even around the corner from the #1 Hammam Spa in Istanbul. It’s also located about 7 minutes walking distance from Istiklal Street, the major street where all the big shops are. There’s simply no better accommodations to be had in Istanbul. I invested an huge amount of time researching and vetting various hotels before choosing the Soul Hotel, and I chose entirely correctly. So, for free, you now get to benefit of all my investigations and experience, and I get to worry that I’ll have to fight you in the future for my own reservations. I wrote this because I couldn't ignore the reputation of this really fine establishment being attacked by crazy lies. Soul Hotel staff give their best for guests, and I feel obliged to stand-up against any bad things implied about this hotel. Soul Hotel is a CLASS ACT all the way.

We had read amazing reviews about this hotel and so contacted the hotel last night. We spoke to Welat on the phone and he confirmed us a rate for the hotel room. We told him that we would be staying for 3 nights starting today 2nd January. Also mentioned on the phone that we hope the price will not increase once we reach the hotel. He said ofcourse not. Upon reaching the hotel, we have never come across someone so rude in the hotel industry. The young chap should not be allowed to be seated at the reception as he is on the way to ruin his family business. He said “I am a Liar. This is the increased price and I can sell it online for this increased price.” which was 40% more than what he had confirmed on the phone the previous night. He also added “I cannot speak to you any longer as I have a lot of hotel work to do.” and walked off. There was a customer who had been to the hotel around 29 times. He said the father is a gentleman. I just hope the father teaches Welat hotel business mannerisms. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone only due to the way we were treated.

Best staff ever. They are so friendly and willing to help. Cheers me up everytime to interact with them. I was sad to leave. Thanks to Nursena, Gizem, and their great manager, and all the staff at the reception.

I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

First of all: location and price were fine, also the fact that I arrived at 9 morning, normal check in was at 2 pm but they let me in the room earlier. What I did not like: the bathroom was old, as you see on the photos, although the room itself was clean and cozy. I had all needed bathroom stuff and cleaning service worked properly. Also, I booked another one with kitchen, the reception guy told me that its another room but better, but was not at all! And, when my friend visited me for 30 minutes, before we go to the bars, reception asked 1000 questions, ID card and everything, was too boring and it was day time. So if you take single room and think that can invite friends - its not the best place...
