JR-EAST HOTEL METS UTSUNOMIYA

The hotel has a good location, convenient for getting around, and there are restaurants nearby, but there is a parking fee if you drive. The rooms are clean and don't look old.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room and the property itself were very good. The location is excellent — it is close to the station and very convenient to travel around. You can also walk through the shopping mall, which makes it even more comfortable, especially in bad weather. Although the hotel has been around for quite some time, the room is still well maintained, clean, and there was no unpleasant smell at all. The only small downside is that the room felt slightly dark, but it did not affect my overall experience.

The location is superb! There's a few malls around as well as restaurants. Supermarket is located at 1st floor. The hotel provides the lounge area too.

Your children can take pictures and view the Shinkansen and meanwhile you can sit back on the couch watching your children

Not many shops are open 31Dec to 1Jan. Rooms are comfortable. Lounge on 5th floor is comfortable, and coffee is good.

The hotel location & service was good. Except the noise from train from 6-23:00. Also the bathroom was cold not sure is it due to top floor

Sheltered all the way from utsunomiya station.. even though it's right by train station, the room we had was extremely quiet. The decor and lightings abit dark. Coin laundry available. Overall,we appreciate the convenience of the location as it's surrounded by malls. We walked 6 mins to the car rental place to explore Nikko. There's also light rail station ( just a few stops to Bell Sakura onsen)

The hotel is very close to JR station and a few shopping malls in that area. Room is clean and tidy.
