We stayed for two nights for a friends wedding we were attending nearby, it was the perfect place to stay we enjoyed food and drinks the first night we loved our canel suite room right on the waterfront the view in the morning was lovely, it had all the amenities you needed the little biscuits was a nice touch and even had an air con machine which we needed as it was very warm when we stayed. The staff are really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, the only down side is they only serve breakfast at weekends so Friday morning before the wedding we had to try and go out and find somewhere else. But we would definitely stay here again the room was lovely and comfortable.

We had our daughter’s wedding celebrations at the Watersedge. The staff went above and beyond expectations. There were copious amounts of food which were beautifully cooked. My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights and were most comfortable. I could not find a single fault with the staff, the comfort and the food. Thank you Natalie, Leanne and the rest of the staff for making Mattie and Richard’s wedding so special.

On 17th January this year it was my 60th birthday, we decided to invite all the family to the Waters Edge for a meal to celebrate. There was 32 of us including 9 children, the menu was given to us prior to the event so we all had to choose what we wanted and handed in a week before, which was fine. We arrived early to decorate the conservatory which wasn’t a problem at all with the staff, all the family arrived for 7pm, tables were set and all looked great. Dinner was served and it was fantastic!… everyone enjoyed their food and nothing was too much trouble for Leanne and all the staff, whatever we asked for was greeted with a “no problem”, our compliments to the chefs it really was first class, I would highly recommend the Waters Edge without any doubt at all, thanks to Natalie and all the staff for a wonderful evening. Xx

The room was great, clean and tidy and quiet at night once the Christmas function was finished. The big problem was there was no breakfast available at all the next day. On previous stays there has been cereal, yoghurt, croissants etc in the fridge in the room and also the restaurant open for cooked breakfast if you wanted it. The staff said they stopped providing the continental in the rooms earlier this year and don't serve breakfast in the restaurant at the weekends in December as they need to get ready for the Christmas lunches.... So basically there is nothing provided or available on site at all for breakfast. They suggested we drive down to the main road and might find a cafe - wasn't impressed especially after a Christmas night out there. I understand why they don't do breakfast in the restaurant during December but they should therefore put the continental breakfast back in the rooms.

We had a lovely stay at Canal Cottages. Our cottage was just the right size for the two of us and good value for money. We stayed Friday through Monday. It was clean and laid out nicely. Everything in our cottage worked. Parking was included. The staff were so friendly. The restaurant served great food. The location was easy to find a short distance from the M4/M25. We enjoyed a 20-minute easy walk along the Grand Union Canal to West Drayton centre and train station. We'll return if we're in the area again.

Lovely room, quiet, clean, comfortable, ample car parking. Really well lit & with a full length mirror - really beneficial for getting ready for a party & doing my make up. Bathroom really lovely - powerful shower, underfloor heating.

What a pleasant surprise!! We were visiting friends in Uxbridge and going to the Waters Edge for Sunday lunch to finish off the weekend. ( which was excellent ). We decided to extend our trip and stay overnight in one of the Courtyard rooms. The room and en suite was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed . Large T.V. mini fridge with bottled water and a continental breakfast. The price was very competitive for the area and well located for Heathrow airport and the Elizabeth line into Central London. A tiny negative was that if the outside dining had been on a busy evening it could have been a bit noisy as the rooms are close by. No hair dryer in the room but available from reception. Overall excellent value for money and will definitely stay again.

great find with lovely food on hand. Busy pub due to location but remarkably quiet once the pub closed. On the canal so peaceful and quaint stay. Smallish room but clean and well appointed. Shower a bit iffy but im sure that will be fixed by the time i write this( room 2) Dont be put off by the approach through the industrial estate - its a really good fun place with great food. Same price as a Premier Lodge but far more interesting !

On arrival we parked up and headed inside. 3 members of staff behind the bar and one customer being served. After being completely ignored for over 10 minutes I gestured to a young man to get some attention. He asked our name for the booking and grabbed a key. Walked us out to what looked like a converted bin storage area to our accommodation. On trip advisor it says free secured parking. I asked about this as we were travelling with 2 motorcycles. He just said “ you just park in the car park”. I asked about the “secure parking” and he said it’s the large , open car park. Not an offer of “ let’s see if we can find you somewhere to put your bikes” . No interest in our concern at all. Took us to the room, opened the door, handed my wife the key, showed us nothing and off he went. My wife asked him to confirm that they closed the car park gates overnight to which he replied, no we don’t. After a wash and brush we headed into the bar, restaurant area to arrange to eat. It was empty and again we were totally ignored by staff while we stood by the “ wait here to be seated” sign for a further 15 minutes or so. A male was busy collecting plates, glasses etc but completely shunned us. At this point we decided enough is enough and walked out, walked into the nearby town and ate in a pub there. On returning around 21.30 we decided to have a drink as a night cap. Asking what time it was open until we were told “ 10 o’clock if nobody is here. It was clear that we were unwanted customers at this time of night , although a lady with long blond hair did make some conversation eventually. We went to our room around around 10-10.15 after ordering a drink to take with us as we felt awkward sitting there. We then moved our bikes into the corner of the car park that was out of site of the road and chained them together. We pulled a large recycling bin in front to try and disguise them. After a very restless night , reacting to every sound outside , we eventually got up early and left. Really disappointed with the service and you shouldn’t be staying secure parking because there is nothing secure about a wide open car park with unlocked gates. Will give it a miss next time we visit the area . In summary, the room was ok but be mindful it’s like an oven in warm weather , but the appalling service really let it down.

Lovely setting by the Grand Union Canal. The lodge we stayed in was compact however everything in there that you need. Comfortable bed good size TV and very nice bathroom with shower. All decorated out very well and clean and tidy. The complementary breakfast was a lovely touch too. Good size car park too. Pub was busy with event going on however there is a separate restaurant area and an area for just having a drink and chat with friends.

Visited for my sisters wedding down the road, I had a great stay. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely setting and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Big shout out to Mayah… give that girl a pay rise! Didn’t get the chance to try the food but if it’s as good as the setting should be awesome

We stayed in the Glampod which was quiet, clean and had a beautiful view over the water with the barges just outside. Enough room to put our bags and get dressed up for the wedding we were attending and a large mirror in the room. Staff were very helpful and lovely and our party of 10 went into the pub for a cooked breakfast in the morning and we all had very good food. We were only there for a night but the mattress was awful, springs sticking out and a huge dip so didn't sleep hardly at all so for this reason I would not stay again - if you consider booking, call them first for an update on the bed.
