We were on the way traveling to Reno, Nevada from San Mateo and stay at Fairfield’s Vacaville for one night to take rest so that the whole car ride would be too long and exhausted. We checked in at around 8pm and reception staff was efficient and helpful. The room was very clean and up-to-dated renovated. We did not swim at the heated indoor swimming pool. Breakfast was at normal standard, coffee was good. I would stay there again!

Elevator was out, no hot water l, ironing board and iron didn’t work. Really disappointing for a Marriott property. Word one I have ever stayed at as. Good elite member.

We spent two nights on a business trip. This hotel was perfectly situated for our needs. We like to go for walks in the mornings, and there is a large outdoor outlet mall just a couple of blocks away that is perfect for walking the perimeter to get a couple of miles in (there is no fitness facility at the hotel). There are also some good dining options within walking distance or a very short drive. Interstates are very close, too. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything we needed. Overall, no complaints at all, and I'd stay there again.

Front desk was wonderful - she was great when I called in few days prior and was great at actual check in. Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast just ok. Main complaint would be door hard to open & close & very loud.

The property was clean, close and comfortable. Also, inexpensive. I am frequently visiting Vacaville but do prefer The Courtyard Marriott to The Fairfield Inn and they’re very close. I like the courtyard because it adds some nature and the rooms are prettier but this facility is fine.

Upon my arrival I was greeted by a manager that asked me why I was there. Not the typical friendly conversation I’m used to when interacting with hotel staff. Her question was more in line with an investigation than a friendly warm greeting. I think she realized how rude she sounded when I raised my eyebrows at her question so she rephrased to a friendlier warmer version of her question to which I responded “leisure”. She provided me with a card key and I went to my room. My room was an average room and was moderately cleaned with some minor stains on the floor which I was okay with due to the fact this hotel allows pets. I noticed some light fixtures in the room were broken however the main lights work. At night I couldn’t sleep due to the fact my bed was really itchy which creeped me out. I decided to leave at 2am and continue my stay elsewhere.

I was impressed by the staff there, the lady at the breakfast place , the room cleaning ladies and the front desk staff, they were all super friendly and helpful. The day I arrived was late, check-in was quick and sweet as my 4 years old was tired after a long drive there. The day I left, I accidentally left my tumbler cup at the front desk. The front lady named Amy answered my phone and helped to mail it back to me. I opened the package, the cup was well wrapped in a plastic bag and a towel so it won’t be damaged while in route. I can’t thank you enough for the help as I know she took her personal time to stop by the post office for me! In addition, the room was very clean, quiet and spacious, definitely will book it again when I come back in town.
