The attitude is very enthusiastic and the facilities are four-star standard. It's a bit far from the city center. The key is the meal, which is great. The baked snacks for breakfast are unforgettable. They are not oily or sweet, but they are particularly fragrant. For dinner, I ordered a roast pork knee with plum sauce (a small amount, only half a pork knee, not a large portion like Germany), and I even licked the plate. I ordered a pumpkin leek soup for my mother. She has a bad appetite and feels comfortable after eating it.

In many ways this hotel was ideal for us, it wasn't right in the city center where all the noise is, but it was close enough to it (about half an hour's walk to the train station with a suitcase and bags). The hotel staff was excellent, very kind and respectful with lots of good and efficient advice. The room was spacious enough and clean and we didn't lack anything. One weak point was for us and it was the bed which was a double bed but, it was connected by two mattresses, and an air conditioner that worked but made a lot of noise. In conclusion, if you don't mind walking to the city center (I strongly recommend everyone to walk and not use public transport, there is a lot to see on the way :) ) And you are looking for the hotel staff to be nice, polite, experienced, know the surroundings and know how to give you tips, this is the hotel check for you. Location and Service are strong points of Hotel delle nazioni. however, a broken toilet button (that got resolved) should have not occurred. The staff member came up and fixed it in timely fashion. Th facility score is lower because of the noise from the tram outside our windows staritng at 0500 and going up to 2030 in the evening was distracting, plus the discard pipes from shower and toilet use by the upstairs room made for alot of noise and difficulty in sleeping. Good breakfast and service. Hotel is near the Firenze train station but is farther away from the attractions to see in FLorence.

We visited Hu Camping because it had the services we wanted whilst being really close to Florence. Check In could not have gone any easier. Really polite staff. We asked to upgrade our mobile home but there were none available until the end of the week. So we didn't bother. We drive to our home and noticed it was clean and well maintained. There were people gardening, cleaning all the time. Got to the mobile home and things were not ideal, utensils missing and a ladder to the bunk bed. We went to reception to ask about the missing things and the majority of what we needed was sent to us within an hour with huge apologies. It was an older mobile home but it was clean and ready for us to put our feet up. Having two bathrooms was really good with a family of 5. It was 37°C outside and the air conditioning worked well. We took a fan with us so it moved the air around a bit more. But we left it on during the day, with the interior doors open and the rooms were nice and cool. We used the restaurant, the service was really good and they were busy. It's a good idea to book. We had booked for 9pm and a couple were ahead of us in the queue when we arrived, they asked for a table and were told they'd have to wait 45 minutes. The food was tasty and fresh. Not overly expensive, considering some places nearby or other European cities. We used both pools, the kids one was a little cold but my boys (8, 13, 15) didn't care. Around the pool was clean and well maintained, there was enough shade if needed and a lovely olive grove section away from the pool for lots of shade. The pool bar was well equipped and the staff were friendly. The main pool was busy but people still had space to throw a ball or jump in. It's not there for doing lengths. The onsite shop was fine, it's not big, so we used it when we had to, otherwise there was a decent sized Coop not too far from the site (driving distance). The other bits were good, bike hire (although get there early), laundry services were great, the volleyball/football pitch needs updating but it was fine. The location is just outside the city. There was a bus to the centre from the campsite but we didn't use it. We drove and parked in underground parking in the city. All very easy. I had preconceptions about how it was going to be but I was really surprised with how good it was. And the staff were really polite and helpful. I would happily go back to visit it again.

Right next to the reception, and directly below some of the apartments there is a restaurant that has live events on Saturday evenings with loud music, DJ with microphone and people dancing, cheering, clapping etc (basically like in a club/disco). We had the bedroom directly above this restaurant so we could hear everything and feel the vibrations when we put the head on the pillow. There is no reception after 7 PM but they have an emergency number that we contacted on WhatsApp to sort this out. The hotel declined all responsibility and said they can't do anything, and when I asked why they rented directly above the restaurant/disco they were rood and condescending. The party in the restaurant kept going till 3 AM when it ended up with a fight between customers right outside, below our window and next to the parking spaces for the hotel guests! When checking out we complained about the parties and the attitude of the person responding to the emergency numbers, and it turns out that they knew about the parties, and they described it as some noise and it would be a little later in the evening. There was nothing they could do except apologize, but I wonder why didn't they make any complaints for the noise to the police to ensure the comfort of their customers or at least contact the restaurant to stop at a decent hour (especially since this is a restaurant they are recommending when you check-in and on the information in the room). Surely there were solutions so that we could have been able to sleep in the room we paid to sleep in, but apparently they did not care.

This hotel is a little far from the center but close to the hospital, the rooms were clean and had enough space, air condition was working very good and the included breakfast buffet was good as well. we didn't try the pool area because this was packed with a british group and we stayed there for a city visit and not for relaxing. The breeakfast restaurant was as well packed with very noisy and loud british people they kept everybody busy and were not well behaved. The bar was nearly empty and the barkeeper served us very fast and friendly. Reception was fast friendly and gave us some hints and good advise for our city visit. The beds were very good and comfortable. Due to the fact that we traveled around Tuscany we could park our car at the hotel owned parking lot (for free)
