Pra dell'Ort: a place you never forget and want to return to Our stay at Agroturismo Pra dell'Ort in Valdobbiadene was one of those you never forget. The location is exactly how you imagine the Prosecco Hills. Quiet in the middle of the vineyards, yet just a few minutes from the centre of Valdobbiadene. What completely won us over was the honest quality of the building's renovation. The historic building has been restored with absolute sensitivity. Parquet floors, stone, solid wood, designer bathrooms. And Italian design wherever you look. The wellness and pool area is on another level. Outdoor infinity pool with a view, indoor pool, steam sauna, solarium, jacuzzi, and surprisingly even a lift, which you do not expect in a historic agriturismo. The service is provided by the ladies of the house. Elisabetta and Giulia looked after us, two incredibly kind hostesses who welcome you like family. In the morning they prepare breakfast from local ingredients, during the day they recommend the best cycling routes through the vineyards, and they can arrange e-bike rental right on site, so anyone can handle the surrounding hills. The highlight was the private Prosecco tasting at the family winery Gemin. It was led by Luigi, who took us through the production, explained the processes, and with a smile poured their own prosecco. No group tasting, just an authentic conversation and stories from the family that farms here. Pra dell'Ort is not just accommodation with a winery. It is an example of what hospitality should look like. Respect for tradition, top-quality materials, excellent food, and people who do it with heart. Thank you Paola, Elisabetta, Giulia and Luigi.
