I want to start off by saying that I am not a motel snob, I have stayed in many dingy places. I have never written a review, but I feel the need to warn others of this place. Firstly when I got here, I found pube looking hair in the bed, it looked like the sheets had not even been washed, they were stained (fresh stains) and they had holes in them. It was disgusting, but thankfully I had a sleeping bag in my so I sucked it up and tried to go to sleep. After about an hour or trying to asleep over the sound of some tweaky people having a yelling match under me, I was finally able to fall asleep. Around 2 am, I was woken up by loud pounding on my door. It startled me, but I figured someone had accidentally knocked on my door and they would go away, but he didn’t. He started pounding on my door and yelling “RICKY F***G LET ME IN MAN I NEED MY BAG!!” My window was open partially due to the extremely strong stench of cigarette, so I could hear outside very well and he could hear me. I was trying not to make any noise because I didn’t want him thinking Ricky was ignoring him so I went and hid in the bathroom. I tip-toed to the door to look and see what kind of guy he looked like and he looked like an unstable addict. He kept yelling and pounding” RICKY F*** LET ME IN”!! He got angrier and angrier and began saying “IF YOU DONT LET ME IN IM GOING TO BREAK THE SCREEN! I didn’t know what to do, I tried yelling that it was the wrong room in a mans voice (I am a young woman alone so I wasn’t trying to have him know that I was alone in there) but he just kept yelling that he was going to break the screen. - [ ] At this point I was extremely frightened so I hid in the bathroom and called the front desk whispering so he wouldn’t hear me and become further antagonized, I asked them to send someone to tell him to go away. The response I got from the hotel was “sorry we won’t do anything about it, questioning me saying “how do we know you don’t know him” i repeatedly told them I didn’t know him, that he was threatening to break into my room at any moment but they didn’t care and were extremely rude to me. I asked them to call the police, in response I was told if I wanted to call the police I should do it myself. - [ ] I called 911, they came just in time. He was saying he was about to break the screen as they arrived. Even after the police were there the guy continued to say “please tell Ricky to let me get my bag. I said I don’t know Ricky, please leave me alone. They told him I don’t know Ricky, but he was angry and confused. The police left, this was around 3:30. I tried to sleep but I was scared he would come back, angry i had called the police on him. I finally got to sleep at 4:30, when I woke up my alarm hadn’t gone off because I had left my charger in the car and I didn’t want to leave my room in case he was still out there. I woke up at 10:45 and the checkout was 11. I called the desk to ask if I could have a 11:15 checkout because of this

Hilton Vancouver Washington

Vancouver|0.89km from Clark County Historical Museum
We found the Hilton Vancouver to be a great hotel that also provided great service! Before the visit, I got a text asking if we needed anything so I asked Dickson about possible upgrades for a Diamond --- he offered an upgrade to a park view (same room type) and when I asked about the Junior Suite, he offered a paid upgrade into one which I took since it seemed reasonable (some hotels upgrade me for free to suites but it sounds like for this one this class of rooms is beyond the usual free upgrade stage, but I still did it to try out the suite). I appreciated the communications from Dickson about our upcoming stay and he provided us a high floor room for the suite. The room itself was quite nice - note that the Jr Suite is still just one room (with a King bed and no sleeper sofa (there is a single seat couch) but with tables in both the entry area and near the bedroom; it was hard to tell from the photos and at check-in someone in the front said there was a sleeper sofa so I suppose some of the other rooms might have that). We liked the 'kitchen-like' table at entry as it was situated right in front of a window facing the park. Breakfast was great - they have a restaurant called Gray's and Sharon took my to-go order and was both prompt & very professional, and food was good (Diamonds get a $15/day credit so you can use it there for B/L/D). Staff was all very good and helpful to questions I had since this was our first (of probably many) trips to Vancouver.

We went as little couples getaway for a night. The staff was amazing, food was amazing as well. We stayed in a king room and it was perfect. We would definitely stay at the Heathman again. Plus they are dog friendly so we plan on bringing our dog next time.

Residence Inn Portland Vancouver

During a power outage we made a reservation atca different Residence Inn only to have it canceled via email a few hours later. I called this location and not only did they have a room, after hearing of our lack of power the agent told us to come up even before check in hours. The kindness shown to us as we were desperately seeking lodging on day 4 of a power outage was simply the best and very much appreciated! From my initial phone call, to the check in process and late the next day when we checked out early - customer service and kindness were topnotch! When we checked out early, the agent wanted to make sure that we did indeed have power and that our home was safe. And despite us checking out past the cancelation time, we were not charged for that night. The staff is simply awesome and your kindness was a light we so desperately needed. The studio room was spacious and comfortable, although the bed was a little too soft. The room was clean and the kitchenette was perfect.

Sonesta ES Suites Portland Vancouver 41st Street

Sonesta ES Suites in Portland Vancouver is a service suite, with kitchen facilities. That made it very convenient for in room dining. There is a full size refridgerator, so it is almost like living at home. We carried a lot of food for our travel, so it was convenient to put perishables in the fridge. There is a stove and microwave for cooking. The hotel staff was excellent. The area is safe. And for breakfast, check out Marguerita, the breakfast hostess. She will help you select your meal and send you on your way with a smile.
Comfort Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown City Center

My husband and I went to a concert at Ridgefield Amphitheater and checked into The Comfort Suites at about 11pm. This place was pretty bad but especially when you consider we paid $186 per night. The check in was smooth and the guy at the desk was friendly and helpful. Then we got to the room. The soap dispenser was broken, the towel I started to use was filthy, the vent in the bathroom was dirty, there was a bloodstain on the comforter and the chair had some kind cigarette melted burn. I realize there is a shortage of employees in the hospitality industry but to pay almost $200 a night for this was rather shocking.
