A convenient place for going to anywhere in Vancouver!!!!!

The room we were in backed onto the nightclub located beside the hotel. Friday night I was able to sleep with earplugs and block most of the bass out but Saturday night was louder both the music and dj. Sadly the bed was extremely uncomfortable, I had a spring in my hip and it was concave in the center. Our daughters tried to stay overnight on the pull out sofa and the mattress on it was next level awful!! The restaurant Morriseys next door has an amazing new chef and their fish & chips was amazing!! You get a 25% discount at the restaurant with your stay at the hotel. Overall the hotel was mostly clean, and the staff were friendly and polite.

* The fragrance used in the lobby and hallway is not very pleasant. * We like the self-served coffee machine at the lobby. * We had difficulty searching for the carpark lot next to the hotel but we managed to get it sorted out using the internet call option in Trip.com apps plus the help by the hotel front desk stuff.

The front desk clerk was able to upgrade our room with a sofa (suite) since we are 3 adults and 1 kid, the published room here in the app was “Double Queen Size Bed” only to find out that its not a double (2 beds in total) but its only 1 bed and a double size only.

The hotel itself is good, but the smell in the hallways was unpleasant. Also, they did not mention during booking that parking would cost extra — this was only brought up upon arrival, which was disappointing.

It was good…but a bit noisy and there were a few homeless people.

**Disclaimer** This hotel should have a disclaimer-  DO NOT BOOK here if you’re not a person who wants to stay up till 4AM at night.  Please do not underestimate how loud the music will be from the night club.  (General staff are very kind (they’re put into an awkward situation by the owners and night club ) and facilities are clean)

We booked two double rooms for our trip in Vancouver. The location is good but the rooms have an awful smell because of the old carpets. They are obviously not maintained very well. The lobby and the hallway are clean. Guests must bring extra sleepers for bathroom use.

Only fixed shower head is provided with low water pressure, no sound proof and I found a big ant in the bed. Following items are not provided: body liquid soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers, movable shower head, universal/usb electric ports

The room was very small. It has an old smell. Bathroom has no exhaust. The carpet looks old and dirty. I should have stayed in a better, newer hotels for the money I paid for my stay in this hotel.

Good location. Everything else are all walkable. Highly recommended
